    Should be spending a significant amount in this window on 3-4 quality players especially if Dembele and Erik are moving on!l - but we are celtic and we won’t!

    All of that, I think at the moment I would settle for a new Keeper if someone comes up and a wide player who can also play through the middle.

    If we can get deals tied up for the summer so they come in early for every other position then I will be happy.

    The board can't drag their heels now with two years champions league money, plus our net spend has been * all and they have spent more plus the VVD money as well.

    So CL qualification, at least £7.5m VVD money, £1.5m for Erik, season tickets sold out, possibly £30m Dembele dollars, not a lot spent in the summer...

    Either wisely, or prudishly, I firmly believe that the van Dijk money was being "used" to buy some right decent players in the summer, but after the original move to Liverpool fell through, so did our potential transfers.

    We're guaranteed an EXTRA jackpot from the transfer that went through today though, so there is absolutely no reason or possible explanation from anyone at the club why at the very least a large chunk of that money shouldn't be invested in January.
