I personally feel he's backup at best.

Rogic and Armstrong for me in no10 role

Don't think Armstrong is a 10 really and never really have. Doesn't have the technique.

I think someone who can play both wide and in behind would be a good priority for January. Rogic isn't reliable enough at the minute.

We are in a bit of a tough spot at the 10 IMO. I don't think McGregor, Armstrong, or Ntcham are fit for that spot. Rogic or Christie would be the better options, but Rogic is very hit/miss for me (as is his fitness), and Christie is obviously away and it's unsure if he's ever going to get a shot. An out and out #10 would be beneficial.

Ah, I thought you just meant in general and not for the last few months of the season.

I’d like us to sign an out and out number 10 tbh.

Rogic is inconsistent and has injury/fatique problems. McGregor is a good player but not a number 10. We could be doing with a playmaker with real quality.

    Nah I'd like one asap.

Been saying for a while we need one and I'd be surprised if Rodgers isn't thinking about it.

    Because we have
Mcgregor is better suited to the 10 role than he is any other position.
He isnt physical enough to play a deeper role, and given his circumstances he wont go on loan again.

He always looks for the ball in between the opponents defence and midfield and he is very good at picking up good positions and turning on the ball.
He played the attacking mid role at notts county and was getting rave reviews back then. As a youngster he played over 35 games on loan for them.
He has shown he is good enough to be in our team, its just whether BR will put his faith in him and he will kick on or if he will look elsewhere.

Anyone that says he should be moved on should be, rightfully, laughed at.

He is a crucial player in Rodgers squad.

I think his decision making lets him down at times. Which you can’t really have in that position.

If he is indeed a number 10 then he’s not of the required quality to be our first choice number 10. Rogic is far better in that position but like I said, he’s unreliable for various reasons.

Nobody has said anything about moving him on :56:

He's too indecisive at times and we could still improve on that position. I think that's clear to see.

    Nobody..

You can see the difference Ntcham has made to our side at time's with that passing and unlocking the defence ball's that other's could only dream of..

I still think him and Rogic (needs to still improve his fitness and pressing) could be a good battle for the 10 regularly as both are capable of magic and unlocking defences but if Brendan doesn't see Ntcham as forward playing....then a genuine magic number 10 to play those killer passes and score goals would make a real noticeable difference to this side..

I don't really see Ntcham as a proper 10 tbh. He has the vision and passing ability, and the shooting, but he offers the team something defensively as well. Him, Brown and a fully fit Rogic would be a fantastic midfield for us.

I misread a previous post. My bad.

A previous post had mentioned he is a back up but i think he has prover he is a bit better than that for us.

    I disagree..

He's a little suspect sometimes defensively. In a 3 in Europe especially I think he could be the man in the 10..

Always offers his self. Comfortable with his back to goal. Passing is usually quality. Penetrative passing is sublime at time's. Comfortable on either side. Can finish, especially from range. Hits freekicks and corners. Has a bit of skill when he wants and also a burst of acceleration off the cuff..

Think he's tailor made for the 10 at present. Maybe when he learns positions more he may be quality dropping back again (still quality) but feel he's always better when he's just around the opposition's box..
