    So is it true he can play LB as well as CB? That is ideal if true. Means if KT needs a rest at times then Compper can cover for him. We should be looking for the same scenario with a right footed CB who can also play RB.

    As a wee aside, his name is really annoying me, the 2 'P's are messing with my head and making my teeth itch.

    He’s played there before but at this stage of his career it’s not suite to him apparently. Left side of a back 3 sounds good as well but

    good signing, especially with what he achieved last season. Only negative is he can't play in Europe this season and has only played 8 games in total in European competition (7 with Fiorentina and 1 with Leipzig). Our last German player was great for us (Hinkel), so looking good

    Kris commons comments about this signing seem to be pretty dumb. We signed the guy for 1 million and 3 solid years but be great. No harm in signing guys in their 30s. Commons must still be bitter.
