    MC: "I feel proud and honoured to be part of this fantastic club. Celtic is much more than a club. For people here, it’s like a religion. To be able to put on this green and white jersey is an honour."

    MC: "First of all, I want to add silverware to Celtic. I think this is what this club is about. For me personally, I want to show the Scottish people that I’m capable of playing for Celtic."

    MC: “I think if you sign a player who is 32-years-old you are looking for experience and this is what the club are getting with me."

    MC: "I have good passing and I speak a lot on the pitch to try and help the guys around me. High defending is something I’m used to as well, so I think I bring all these attributes to the table and this is why Celtic signed me."

    MC: "At the end of the day, it’s about performance. If I don’t perform in training or the games then I’m not going to play."

    MC: "I was talking to my former team-mate goalkeeper, Péter Gulácsi, who worked with Brendan Rodgers at Liverpool. He said Brendan Rodgers was fantastic with players, has great knowledge about the game and has very good preparation."

    MC: "People are very passionate about football here and that is known all over the world. The ambience here at Celtic Park, cannot be compared to any other stadium in the world. This is one of the parts I’m most looking forward to."
