Didn't see the game but the guys barely had a break since coming into the team apart from the injury. It's inevitable he'll become burnt out. Not replacing Izzy was a mistake if he's not going to rotate in one of the younger guys.

Thats a wee bit over the top ,I would say. He wasn't at the races today granted ,but he has been very good this season .He just won player of the month for October.Kieran is the least of our problems .

Hmm. He's not been as effective in the final third as he was last season.

I mentioned this months ago. I think folk have just cottoned on to the fact he always cuts back to edge of box.

Bollocks. I hardly said he's been terrible.

But he's not been as good as he can be. 2 assists in 15 league games, compared to 8 in 24 last season pretty much proves that.

Might be sceptical but I think the fact he doesn’t have any serious competition for his place in the team has hindered him this season.

Still as reliable as ever defensively but I can’t help but think there is something missing from his game going forward that was there last season. Think we will see him back to form if we bring in a reliable left back in January to act as his understudy and maybe put him under some light pressure for a starting spot.

He had a poor game, without a doubt.

That isn’t the catalyst to start spouting * about bad seasons though, which is a load of nonsense.

He's been good this season, but like the rest of the team he hasn't been as good as last season. Nothing to single him out for but a bit of an improvement in the second half of the season would be nice.

Maybe teams are learning to play against us better ,ive noticed they seem to be more relentless wen they have something to protect and are pressing better, we did score a good third which was wrongly ruled offside

That goal was clearly a yard offside but I agree... teams are becoming wiser to us.

There's not been the overlapping or touch and go between KT and Sinclair this season at all which was so effective last season.
There's got to be a reason for that.

Well am not a football coach but the guy who sits a row in front of me is a old coach and he said teams are doubling up on Sinclair and the holding mid and right cb of opposing teams are forcing all our play down the one side (the left) also forcing the no10 in the 3 out there aswell as the CF, so it becomes so congested that you can’t get the room to move (this was at the 5-1 Motherwell game he said this) so I kept watching today and he is * spot on hibs forced the play down that side now I know that both goals came from Sinclair so I watched the Motherwell cup game briefly every time Sinclair and Tierney had the ball and bang on again the old boy is correct and it would explain how Forrest is getting so much joy! When paddy plays and teams do that you then need runners from deep midfield to become more involved and effect and he thinks that’s why Armstrong in the majority has got the nod over Ntcham!

    Could be a plauseable explaination?

Spot on ,and losing the ball in this area isnt good as the have numbers forward pressing us ,we need a more competent ball playing cb who is comfortable going past players and can pass ,that will break the marking up and give more freedom .

Sounds like a good breakdown to me. Cheers for that! Going to keep an eye on this over the next couple of games. The thing here is, since Forrest has been proactive down the right, why are the opposition still adamant on forcing the game down the left. Maybe the lesser of two evils. Ie rather keep Sinclair quiet than Jamesey.

I'd like to see us make a move for James Maddison at Norwich. Watched the game vs Sheffield Wed yesterday and he was incredibly effective at breaking through a congested backline...this is probs for another thread though.

This is wot br is looking for as he knows teams will work out ways to stop us ,he is already steps ahead and thinking of the next phase , our back line is vital to how we play further forward ,being comfortable with the ball and not panicing when pressed is the way ahead for better results in cl games

Guilty of overplaying him.. no LB replacement in the squad..

Need to give Miller some more game time to see if it's an area we need to strengthen in Jan.

Today wasn't a day to drop him tho..
