Yeah I mind that Liverpool. Dunno what’s going on at the minute, hope it’s just a rocky patch and we will go back to what we were like last season. The league should be ok this season but next season we wouldn’t get away with playing like this. If the Huns get a decent manger in and get their act together.

 

Was starting to think that myself - he had that reputation as "deluded Brendan" at Liverpool and I'm not calling him deluded myself, but to call some of our performances this season outstanding is a bit questionable. I'm sure he's telling the players something completely different in the changing rooms but

 

I think fans become disillusioned when the manager speaks to a performance which is different to the reality.

As much as i like his calmness and composure, id like to see him come out and state that the defending isnt good enough. The longer we continue to look shaky at the back, the more concerned the fans will get.

That being said, all in all 2-2 away to hibs on the back of a european game is still a decent result and in the past there was a time wher we were particularly poor after europe and lost these games.

Whats more is that thers not another european game until February so hopefully with increased time to recover between games we will hit a bit of form again.

Hes not gonna slate the team ,needs them all onside and with as much confidence as poss ,let the media do the job of digging away at us ,would like to think that 68 games undefeated domestically will see the fans to a man stay with the team and manager and not help the media and our rivals .

 

I think what's happened is just that the freshness and surge of confidence which came with BR's arrival has started to wear off. Had the summer transfer-window been used as it should there would have been QUALITY newcomers to compensate for this natural and understandable occurrence and keep the momentum going. Ntcham is decent and Paddy would have been too but for injury but the rest weren't what was really needed.

 

No we were dominant and excellent in spells, to be outstanding we would have taken all our chances and won 5-0..

 

it's a small thing but he compared us to benfica by saying they were running away with the league but finished with no points in champions league, when they are actually 3rd. Slightly concerning if hes distorting facts to make his points.

The league will defo be ok not just this season ,even if they got alex ferguson to manage them ,its not them who will finish second .
