We need the team to sort themselves the defence looked at odds when put under pressure and what was McGregor thinking at the goal he chased the ball when there was a man on that and that left a player free to play the ball in. A few times in the game there were 3 players going to press a player and he took them out by playing it quickly

True mate, this time last year rogic, wee paddy, Armstrong,McGregor, sinky, broony, moussa wee Tierney were aw playing out their skins this time last year, even at 0-2 at Motherwell you still genuinely believed we would win and we did, some are still doing okay but not 1 of these players have been anywhere near their standard of last season which is a bit frustrating, * at 2-0 up your still * it this season

Did we get beat to day???? are not undefeated anymore????? are we not top of the league anymore.

    * it ,,,,, i am cancelling my Boxing day Hospitality booking. Why should i watch a team that can only get a draw againsst a good Hibs,,,,, who have a manager we respect and hope he does well with Hibs.

We've been bang average this season.

It sounds blasé to say that we're still unbeaten domestically, in the Europa League, and League Cup in the bag, but certainly my own confidence levels are significantly lower than this time last year.

I do still believe in Brendan, however, and this rocky patch will be his measure.

We're riding it out ugly, but we're still riding it out.

Draw decent result mate but when your 2-0 up with 14 to go, then 2minutes later your at 2-2 and on the back foot for last 10 minutes, it is 2 points dropped and pretty scunnering

Pulsating match. The last minute was as dramatic as you will ever see. Our keeper drops the ball and the resulting shot is cleared off the line then we break up the pitch and have a golden opportunity to steal the win ourselves. That's football at it's best for me.

At 0-2 up I felt we had totally controlled the game but I can't grudge Hibs their point for the way they fought back. Every other team in Scotland would have folded in that situation.

    An enjoyable watch.

Gordon has been a cracking player at times for us and nobody can have a good game all the time but he's slowly becoming more liable to making mistakes. Hope his head doesn't drop and he gets back to top form. Can't believe efe got on the scoresheet today that's a knife in the wound lol.

Did you not watch him playing for Ronnie and keeping us in Europe midweek?
I think it'll take some scouting to replace him.
There is a reason he broke the transfer record.

3 years ago? Aye he had a good first season but performance has dropped significantly since. And I will also add that was he not the reason we lost to inter? I can't really remember but I'm sure he made two howlers

I know what you mean about the confidence levels.

We'd already scudded the filth 5-1 and gained two draws against Man City by this time last season.

One improvement on last season is that we're in Europe after Christmas though, that shouldn't be overlooked.

So ok it was a well below average performance again. Some players way off the form they had last season. Calamity defending again in the last 15 minutes of a game, it has been happening all season. When a team comes and presses us high our back line seem to panic. It does feel like a loss after being 2-0 up then losing 2 late goals to be hanging on at the end. But lets put it into perspective, this is a team that has gone 68 domestic games unbeaten, we are still top of the league by 5 points and a game in hand. We had to play CL qualifying games, CL group games. A lot of our squad have travelled to international games, some have play those internationals. We have qualified for last 32 of Europa and have a trophy in the bag already so its not all bad. This commitment is taking its toll on the players both physically and mentally. Today was a cup final for Hibs, every game we play now who ever it is wants to be the team known for stopping our unbeaten run. At times I feel that burden of being unbeaten is a hindrance to the players and affecting how they are playing. I remember a few seasons ago we went on a run without conceding a goal, that had an affect on the football we were playing, once we conceded it was like a relief and we went on to play some fabulous football.

We have got to take the good with the bad and applaud teams like Hibs who want to come out and have a go, it improves the overall standard of our game. I only hope Hibs can maintain that effort against others. The winter break cannot come quick enough for the players, some of them really need it. So today not great but still unbeaten we move on to the next.Hail Hail.
