Think he needs to be ruthless and sign a need GK RB CB×2. I know it's 95% unlikely to happen but that would be the ideal situation.

How much would he need to spend though to take us up a level? Would it be £10million/15/20 That's main issue. The majority of signings have been from English clubs and they are overpriced big time, hopefully he's got the scouts everywhere and we can pick up a few van dijk price range players that could take us up a level (not saying they would be of van dijks ability).

With what we put out on wages we should be romping teams more often than not.

Are we not still unbeaten domestically?

BR: "I thought we were very good today on the back of a tough game in midweek. We were 2-0 up going into the last 15-16 minutes of the game and we should have been probably four or five up."

BR: "They didn’t really have anything against us. There was one in the first half where Boyle got down the right and got a shot but apart from that, we had great comfort in the game."

BR: "2-0 up with 15 minutes to go, it looks as though we could go on and get more goals. But we stopped passing the ball and we defended a corner not so well."

BR: “Two-nil in football is most dangerous scoreline you can have as at 2-1, from them being not in the game really, they have that momentum and they can be free and there is no pressure."

BR: "Our only disappointment was not seeing that period out, though we still had chances after that to win."

BR: "On reflection, I was really happy with a lot of the game, how we played, our composure, as it’s a tough place to come here and play. They are a tough team, but I thought we were much the better team but without getting the result."

BR on Mikael Lustig's last-ditch block to deny Hibs at the end: “That was the craziest thing about it as you could actually lose the game, and to lose the game would have been a crime."

BR: "The level of our play today was exceptional – our movement, our positioning, our creativity, and defensively we were very strong - but that last 15 minutes, not so good.”

BR on @Scotty_Sinclair: "He was very good, particularly in the second half. He had to be patient in the game, but he is such a great player to have. He is quick, dynamic and always a threat."

We’ve handed out a few rompings but not more often than not. Draws and wins by 1 or 2 have been been what we have done in league this season.

Will take any win as it comes right enough. But if we are to use the argument for when we get 5+ Past us in Europe then we should be doing it regularly to teams we have budgets 10x

I read the post, but not many teams hand out a skelping every week.

We hammered Motherwell 5-1 just recently and if you look at our results this season we've had a fair few big wins.

I know what you mean but I think that's be a bit unrealistic. Think after the winter break we'll come back fresh and ready to finish the season in style.

The quality of the teams in the league, particularly the managers, are higher than last season. People need to remember this.

We are capable of all types of performances under BR and tbh we controlled today's game much more comfortably than I expected..

    We have loads of character..

We need to see if the likes of Eboue and Ajer have the character needed and will see them surely during this month..

What will make us just that extra bit classy, apart from a new CB, is our decision making in the final 3rd.

McGregor, Dembele and Sinclair all went for glory when they could have squared for ta ins.. too much glory hunting.

If we can be that bit more clinical in the final 3rd we will be unstoppable in every game.

He sounded annoyed again after today's game. That's two in a row. Maybe we'll see some changes in the coming weeks.

Were on top until they scored. But don’t think we were outstanding. We were outstanding against Aberdeen a few weeks ago.

People who know Rodgers, knows he will come out with statements like that, and are no way near the truth. We were NOT outstanding at any point today. We might have played some decent football but NOT outstanding. I see the same traits coming out now as when he was at Liverpool. He needs to freshen things up and bring other players in.
