That's because I was too busy celebrating! :lager:

I'm just in my usual post-defeat gloom. Doesn't tend to last long, I'll cheer up soon!

Massive improvement? Where exactly? Only improvement is we got lucky and drew a * pot 3 team and they still pumped us at home.

Armstrong isn't good enough for Europe, Brendan got that wrong we were crying out for Ntcham, I'd also give Eboue the chance to shine now as well

Done ourselves no favours with the coefficient either it's hard enough trying to qualify even a draw would have helped us a bit.

Missed Paddy today. He's a player who could open up a game like this.

I think it more the consistency of it that bothering everyone sure we will be better in Feb but will we be better in the 2nd leg we are not consistent enough one step forward two back in terms of Europe

Horrible, negative, indecisive performance. Really disappointing that the team didn't have the bravery or the self belief to go and express themselves, especially considering they knew they could afford to lose 0-2 and still progress. The only positive to come out of tonight is that we are in the Europa League. Some would call that job done but it's pretty hard to feel positive after a performance like that. It was poor.

An improvement would have been our players going out and playing the very average Belgians off the park. Anderlecht were not a good side tonight. More efficient in the passing but ffs if we are to do anything in the EL we need to play with balls and passion! I'm usually very upbeat but that was not an acceptable performance from this squad in particular. We know they are better than that.

Rubbish.........but we got european football after Christmas so i guess its not all bad.
Struggle to understand how we seem to come up with these * performances every so often but im guessing its all down to the quality of players we have.

Rodgers coming out and saying the players aren’t good enough... wow. He’s bang on. They can be but they just aren’t confident in themselves.

I agree mate, I certainly didn't complain about any of the Bayern PSg games , and let's be honest if we had lost 0-1 at Celtic park and went to Belgium and won 3-0 everybody would be raving which in effect did happen but only the other way around , so great achievement to get to Europa league, as Sutton says we beat Ajax in Amsterdam 3-1 in 2001 , was the same coming back to Celtic park didn't really know how to play it but again lost 0-1 at Celtic park but never really looked in any danger of going out
Would've been nice to have went through in a cavalier winning 2 or 3 nil at Celtic park, but your as much through losing 0-1 or 0-2 tonight as we would've been winning 5-0
Definitely think big N'Cham should start before Armstrong in next few games and Sinclair s went off the boil a bit as well recently

Out come the you can't complain because we are invincible and Europa was our aim mob.... Nothing short of pathetic no matter if there was a different outcome

Yeah last 32 home and away
Could be a big night at Celtic park, last time we played in last 32 was inter Milan 14/15 season, cracking 3-3 draw and unlucky no to go through, matched them in Milan. But lost 0-1 With a late goal and that was us playing with 10 men from about the 6th minute when big Virgil got sent off

Their captain was outstanding I thought. Well out our budget I’m sure, however the type of player we are crying out for.
