This is a good point. Anderlecht looked a proper side tonight. In the last match they must have had their Ronnie Deila coach!

The 2002/03 season was the first time we had secured European football after Christmas in 23 years. Enjoy it! The games against Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain were write-offs. We essentially beat Anderlecht 3-1 in a two-legged play-off. I’m as disappointed as anyone by tonight, but it’s not worth brooding over - we will be better in February!

    over and over
Gordon - top class keeper, has pulled as out of manys a hole
Lustig - if he comes up against an anyway decent player hes *
    Boyata - will cost us
    Simunovic - solid, dependable
Tierney - excellent player as we know
    Brown - * without him
Arnstrong - pish, not good enough our worst cm
Forrest - on fire, usually dangerous and effective
CMG - calm composed, not a 10 though
Sinclair - been awful and if he doesnt pick up needs replaced
    Dembele - will get goals

Ntcham, rogic are definite starters from now on for me, griff can feel veey aggrieved at not getting any mins in last 2 games and now deserves to start at the weekend, bitton should be starting, its night and day the composure we have with the ball when he plays.

All in all i think most of the tools for a good side for the europa are there they just need ro be implemented properly imo

No its not celtic reputation matters and coeff as well and that match was not good for it at all plus the fact they missed out on 1.5 mill prize money that would have been handy

Basically THIS. Hartson and Sutton saying we need to change our attitude and STEP UP. Need more bottle and big game mentality.

Brendan's won 1 point out of 18 at home in the Champions League. 1 win out of 12 home and away. I know the opposition are operating at a different level, and our away form is improving, but our home record is still really poor. Winning at home in Europe is starting to become a bit of a bogey for us, like winning away used to be.

Ntcham was immense when he came on. Armstrong was absolutely mince. Sinclair hasn’t been great this season but he has been terrible in Europe, doesn’t seem to have any confidence.

If anyone can find me the full game ( @Notorious ) I would be eternally grateful.

My uncle in Canada doesn't finish work for another couple of hours and doesn't know the score yet.

Our European game really needs to improve when you look at some of the teams we could be playing it could be out after 2 games

Passing was * and that led to most of our problems,,, only good thing about qualifying with such a terrible records of 1 Win & 5 defeats is that Bully will be * spewing. That is the only positive i can see in tonights performance but Young Edourd done well and Gordon saving early on made it a lot more comfortable than it could have turned out

I thought we were poor first half, but to be fair to the team, we were very comfortable second half. It was a very decent second half performance.

Nitcham was excellent, Rogic played very well and I thought Craig Gordon was the man of the match
