“It’s hard to imagine myself playing for any other club. I've been here since I was nine years old so anywhere but Celtic would feel strange.“

Our best player this season so far.

In fact, he's been so good that I haven't really been bothered about not seeing much of Roberts, and am not really too bothered about him being injured (other than the fact I don't wish hurt on any of our players).

Would happily see "Wee Jamesy" given the no.7 jersey next season :34:

This pretty much describes my feelings. Jamesy has been class this year, cant believe I am saying that as I was usually scpetical towards him.

It's the first time he's reached double figures in goals during the season apparently.

This is a myth. He played well for Ronny as well.

He's on a different level now though, as are many of the players.

"Forrest matched the great Bobby Lennox’s club feat of scoring in three winning League Cup finals while he’s now overtaken Neil Lennon with his Parkhead medals haul."

    Incredible.

When you talk of underrated modern day Celts, he's got to be near if not at the very top of the list.

Reckon it's because he's such a quiet personality too; not outspoken or loud like Brown, Griffiths or Lustig for example.

Forrest just keeps his head down and gets the job done with minimal fuss, never involved in controversy etc.

Having Paddy as competition for Jamesy has been perfect for him..

Need the same on the left for Sinclair, in Jan if possible..

Personally I never underratted him, I knew he was an excellent player, he's provan that in the past. What frustrated me was his mentality, I thought he didn't believe in himself enough and his confidence seemed fragile.
Brendan has obviously found a way to restore belief in himself and reassured him not to get affected by a poor game because his style of football is on the cutting edge of fantastic or failure so focus on the fantastic and there will be less failure.

He’s flying just now, I’ve noticed he even comes across better in interviews.

    Come right out his shell.

Over the past 2 seasons he's been very good.

But at the same time, although I'm quite happy to help praise on him now, he was a hugely frustrating player for a good few years and a lot of criticism towards him was justified at times.

I'm just glad hes overcame it. At this point, he is underrated yes.
