What a game, second half especially. Valencia are quality, be good to see them in CL next year.

Yes and no, Athletic built their new stadium partly over the footprint of their old one but they got rid of the old San Mames structure completely (think Spurs/New White Hart Lane). Real Sociedad look to be retaining elements of the current ground, both of the stands either side for example, whilst building new ends and adding new seating over the old athletics track.

Seen Real Madrid were held at home to a third division team tonight. Probably a third string side playing, but an embarassing result none the less.

Fuenlabrada. They were already 2-0 up from the first leg though, so still won 4-2.

Nice result for Celta at Camp Nou, will hopefully open the title race up a bit. Real should deal with Athletic easily enough, they're having a turgid season.

I think he takes pride in red cards, must be nearing a record? I bet his last ever game before retiring he'll get sent off as well just for the sake of it.

Barcelona and Real Madrid both seem a level below their usual selves this season.

Valencia and Atletico should be fancying their chances.

Real Madrid have been awful but Barcelona are quite unlucky, seen they had an onside goal given as offside today and last week they scored but the Refs never noticed the ball went over they line. So could easily have had 40 points out of 42.

Madrid should never have let Rodriguez and morata go there's not a lot on the bench of that quality when they need a goal

They need Ronaldo to start scoring again, they'd never have imagined he'd only score 2 goals from 68 shots in the League so far. Even Busquets has 1 goal and hes only hit 1 shot.

True but ronaldo is getting older and will lose that sharpness in movement that set him apart from defenders
