Let’s not forget here that well we’re lucky to have there main striker playing to begin with. Should have been sent off against the huns but got away with it. Then that dirty challenge on Dembele, another one they got away with.

Special mentions to McGregor and Armstrong today. Absolutely superb both of them. Armstong's running with the ball from midfield was brilliant all game and could see he was desperate to get a goal. Wonderful drive and determination all game.

McGregor's ball retention was the best on the park. Kept it moving and never wasted it. Fantastic performance.

Man of the match by a mile James Forrest was on fire all game. Best player on the pitch, direct running and decision making all day was spot on. Deserves all the adulation he is getting just now. Having his best season in a Celtic jersey so far.

Well done the management, players and all staff. Great start to the season and the good times just keep on rolling

Not a great performance, but when it comes to a final only the result matters. I'm not a great fan of Forrest but he was very good today, and he came up with another important goal for us in a big game. Deservedly man of the match.

In my opinion the penalty was very soft, minimal contact, I tend to judge penalties on how I would feel if it went against us and I would have been raging had we had a penalty given against us for that. Having said that the player shouldn't have been on the park after that tackle on Dembele.

I don't know what the problem is with Sinclair, but he is right off the boil just now. He was a bit better after they went down to 10 and there was more space, but even then he was still a shadow of the player he was last season.

Still, all in all a good day. Another trophy, 4 in a row, the undefeated run continues and the first stage of back to back trebles is in the bag.

Bit slow first half but were brilliant in the second and should've scored a lot more 2-0 flattered them, they're such a limited bunch only tactic is kick the * out of the opposition and hope Moult scores.

Just home from the game there. Think today was a very professional if not breathtaking performance. Thought Brown, Armstrong and Mcgregor ultimately won us the game in the 2nd half and we seem to be a far more fluid team with these 3 playing together.

Don’t think we can underestimate the importance of getting a trophy in the bank before our biggest game of the season against anderlecht either. Hopefully this will get the overall confidence levels of the team back to the level they were at last season and let us push on to another clean sweep domestically.

Well after a boring first half we just dominated the 2nd half, they had 1 big chance which Gordon made an amazing save apart from that we were never troubled.

Gott say Jozo and Boyata were superb, Boyata won every header he went for and never gave Moult a sniff, Jozo was great taking the ball out from the back.

Broony bossed it, McGregor and Armstrong had great energy and their running with the ball made a diference. Forrest was our main outlet he caused all sorts of problems and scored a great goal. Sinclair looks short of confidence.

Another title and still invicible :62:

After the way they played today. They pressed well and kept their shape mostly. Was energy sapping performance for them. Hopefully they are too * to catch our bhoys on Wednesday.

To celebrate in the start of a new treble. I know he likes to pop in for defeats but maybe he could be joyed to move for a positive text.:celt_2:
