Yeh they can't actually do anything about it if they did they'd be condemned by the Catholic church and you would think Celtic would probably take them to Uefa if they tried anything

If anyone finds a picture of the Pope offensive, that is there problem. It is a basic human right for any person to freely practice which ever religion they choose.

If any body, football orientated or otherwise, tried to punish Boruc for this, they would be absolutely slaughtered by the ECHR. I am sure that the SFA or SPL would not want to be portrayed as a Catholic hating nation.

The thing that you have to remember about Artur is he is a wind up merchant. He deliberately courts controversy and he loves it. Wearing that t-shirt makes us love him more, but it also makes the knuckledragging element of the hun fans angry, as would a FTP t-shirt worn by Ferguson.

I love Artur, being an atheist i can appreciate him for what he is; a great keeper who loves the drama. I love Old Firm players who ensure the games still has personality - Amoruso, Lennon, Ricksen and Boruc are prime examples. But did he really have to wear that t-shirt? For a man who is clearly more intelligent than the average footballer i think that was pretty stupid.

LAW 4 – THE PLAYERS’ EQUIPMENT

The basic compulsory equipment of a player comprises the following
    separate items:
    • a jersey or shirt – if undergarments are worn, the colour of the
sleeve should be the same main colour as the sleeve of the jersey
    or shirt.
    • shorts – if undershorts are worn, they are of the same main colour
    as the shorts
    • stockings
    • shinguards
    • footwear

Decisions of the International F.A. Board
    Decision 1

    • Players must not reveal undershirts that contain slogans or advertising.
The basic compulsory equipment must not contain any
    political, religious or personal statements.
    • A player removing his jersey to reveal slogans or advertising will
be sanctioned by the competition organiser. The team of a player
whose basic compulsory equipment contains political, religious or
personal slogans or statements will be sanctioned by the competition
    organiser or by FIFA.
    • Jerseys must have sleeves.

So what if it makes them angry?A staunchly Catholic Polish goalkeeper wears a t-shirt featuring his hero for want of a better word..who was also a Polish goalkeeper..big deal...They did'nt care too much when Juan Sara revealed his Jesus saves t-shirt when he scored..He did it in front of us.Didn't go near them..If the sight of a fecking t-shirt winds people up so much i'd suggest it's their problem.
The fact that the media are concentrating on the fact that it angered the Huns is madness, the focus should be on why it angers them

Fair enough there is nothing technically wrong with it and rightly it will go unpunished.

But in all honesty he is just * stirring and just as i think he was wrongly booked for clapping the fans against Hibs he shouldn't have worn the t-shirt yesterday.

If the didn't enforce this rule with Kaka then they can't with Buruc surely?

That could be his defence if they do.

As ik said he knows what he's doing, he is not stupid. How would the majority of Celtic fans feel if Ferguson unveiled a William of Orange t-shirt? It was immature and stupid.

I wish people would stop making similarities with someone wearing a Pope t-shirt, to someone wearing a f**k the Pope t-shirt.

One is a religious symbol, the other sectarian bile.

exactly, he done it for attention.
its irrelevant what you think, but then you go on to say he has pictures in his house of the pope therefore it wasnt done to wind the animals up. aren't you saying, well i'm not giving my opinion on it because it counts for nothing, then giving your opinion on it?
the fact he has pictures of the pope show's he's religious, it dosn't show he wouldn't use that to wind some people up.

had barry ferguson wore a * save the queen t-shirt and wore it after an oldfirm win would he be alright, because he believes in the queen and all she stands for, or will he be in trouble because it was wore to wind us up
