So either you get used to Celtic winning everything in Scotland for a long long time or find yourself another club who don't win anything.

Maybe you should bare in mind the fact that many on here grew up during a period of 9 years without a title win, and some of them weren’t even close.

Firstly, I don't give a * what the rest of Europe thinks about our unbeaten record.. Brendan hasn't lost a domestic game since he's been here. He's created history.. using the fact we're unbeaten to criticise the league is a * up way of looking at things.. we are on course for back to back trebles which has never been done before..

We haven't always been so dominant and I'm * loving it!

He's improved the players he has inherited so much they are unrecognisable and has added real quality in Dembele, Sinclair and Ntcham.. with the excellent Roberts resigning on loan. My only criticism in recruitment is not getting it a quality CB in..

We won 3-0 in Belgium and are on course for the EL.. we have qualified twice in two years for the CL. And if you are comparing him to Lenny(who I love) it took him two seasons to achieve that..

We are lucky to have a Celtic minded manager of his calibre at the helm and only those who aren't Celtic minded can't see this..

Like, the last time we played a team the level of Forres Mechanics we won only by 2-0 including THAT handball goal by Kazim Richards.

I don't know if you are german but the "too poor, too wee, too stupid" was the unnoficial motto of the unionist campaigners during the independence referendum, basically they campaigned the entire * by saying Scotland * sucks and if it would ever go alone would become like Albania. That's why I use it, was some sort of political reference.

 

A few things:

- Lack of competition doesn't condemn us to mediocrity. I had too much free time yesterday and calculated how Germany would be in the UEFA Coefficients without Bayern. They would be 20th so far this year, behind Azerbaijan and Slovenia. That doesn't make Bayern weaker. Actually quite the opposite, this lack of pressure at home can be used to test and develop kids like Ralston. The unbalance of the scottish league is quite overrated. Most leagues on europe are as one sided as the SPFL as of today.

- I hate Sky TV statistics football, but if you get the stats of Us 2-1 Barça and the 7-1 drubbing, they are all very similar bar the score. That's why this is important. It's really not impossible. And honestly, overall, I think our squad is better right now than the one Lennon had that day. *, TONY WATT scored a goal in that game. BR is probably a better coach than Lennon, otherwise Lennon wouldn't be in Hibernian right now, but for me there were three differences between those two days: Fraser Forster, a guy in the dugout that would be completely * with a loss rather than trying to find positives, and an organized defence. I am not even saying we need a new VVD. I think our defenders are good. An improvised Bitton did a decent, passable job against the best attacking line of the world. The guy playing beside VVD that day was that very skillful lad Efe Ambrose. Apart from bad luck with injuries and lack of proper backup, the problem is training and organization. That's why I am *. A 7-1 loss has no positives. By the way, I am brazilian so I have authority on 7-1 losses.

- It's getting worse but football is still 11 vs 11. That PSG team will and already eventually dropped points to Ligue 1 teams that are totally crap. Nobody should have this attitude "it's lost before a ball is kicked", specially Celtic. Some comparisons "oh but they spent more in one player than our entire transfer record etc etc etc". Back to the second point: the beauty of football is statistics often mean * all. We could make exactly the same statement about us and Motherwell, you probably could buy Fir Park with everything they have inside if by selling Moussa Dembele. Surely it's much less fun than it used to be before when anything could happen but this is still not basketball.

 

Dembele - Very good signing
Ntcham - Early days, could be good signing
Roberts - We don't own him
Sinclair - Good player, but wrong age

Who has he signed, other than Dembele, that any top clubs might want to buy off us for decent money??

Because, like it or not, that is the remit of any Celtic manager under Lawwell... we are a selling club. Selling for big profits, is the only hope we have to progress as a club and become more competitive!

I never said he was *... but he's not some kind of messiah either!

Domestic success is not really a good measuring stick, to judge how good a job Rodgers is doing. Like I said, we have ZERO competition!

But the league is rubbish. That's a fact... if going unbeaten was really a mark of how good a team we are, then we would not be getting humped 12-1 in europe! (if we were genuinely a decent team, maybe it would be 3-1 or 4-1)

I've not really been too impressed with his signings so far... as already stated above. For me, he needs to find a lot more promising young players.

The fact that we currently have zero competition domestically, we really could just fill our team with young players and still win the league! We will possibly never get a better period in history to do something like that.

Some fans are happy enough winning the league (with zero competition) and getting a good pumping in europe.... sorry, that just doesn't do it for me!
