    Precisely.

Given the fact that Rodgers' main remit this season was to QUALIFY for the group stages. If he manages to guide us to a 3rd place finish, and into European football beyond the new year, he has been very successful indeed.

Take away the scorelines and whatever else will be yesterday's news soon, this year's campaign has been very enjoyable. Winning out first away game in * knows how long (with our biggest away score - aswell as a clean sheet), and taking the game to Ze Germans on our own patch has been tremendous to watch.

Aye, so we got spanked by Munich in Munich, and had our pants pulled down by the Parisians over two games.......so *! It's done. Over.

We will learn from this and will see investment in the back areas either in January and/or in the summer.

And we will try to better this year's campaign next year, same as we have did this year.

A actually think we could do well in Europa league, and he did set out to do that, the only argument is we've
a think he is a top coach and getting to Europa league is a good achievement but as good as PSG are we are better than losing 12-1 on aggregate to them, for Glasgow Celtic losing 12-1 on aggregate is embarrassing

Arsenal lost 10-2 to a team that psg battered. Its ahite, but lets face it. Glamour ties always bring this risk. Technically the night we beat barca could have easily been 7-2 Fact is we had a world class goalkeeper. Were getting close. Bring the europa on.

So as long as we get to Europa league against the 3rd seeds you think it's ok to get pumped 12-1 on aggregate with the top teams
12-1 come on mate that's shocking

Look, show me ONE single post or comment where anyone has said losing 12 goals over 2 games is either "ok" or "acceptable"?

Everyone keeps using the Arsenal 10-2 result from last year
They should be * ashamed of themselves aswell getting pumped 10-2 on aggregate but * Arsenal am only interested in Celtic competing better against these teams because a think we are capable of it, get big Gordon trying to play 1-2s against these teams and get in about them instead of sitting back admiring them

Brendan sets us out to attack from the off. The Celtic way. And it works as we have seen. The flip side is it leaves us open at the back to be picked off at will by any half decent outfit. No real answer to this, other than shut up shop. But when we done that in the past, I for one, wanted us to have a go either way.

Tried to shut up shop against Barca in the first game of last season's CL - got pumped.

Sat back and tried to soak up pressure from PSG in the first game of this season's CL - got pumped.

Went out and attacked Anderlecht this season - won 0-3.

Went out and attacked Bayern at home this season - very unlucky, but one of the most entertaining, full of heart performances we've seen in a long time.

Attacked PSG from the get go there, scored an early goal, and lost 7.

Mate we didn't just compete against Barcelona in that 2012 one off, we were unlucky to lose 2-1 in nou camp 2 weeks previous, O'Neil put Barcelona out UEFA cup on aggregate, big Hartson scored in nou camp for a 1-1 draw even last 16 game ended up losing 3-2 but pushed them all the way, they were great Barca teams but we competed against them, we've not even looked like competing against bigger teams recently, it's powderpuff torture

We didn't attack against them or defend we just gave the ball away to them about 20 times in first half then sat off them, did same in second half

They never called forrester the great wall for nothing. Messi even wanted him as barcas keeper. Thats what were missing. Id say we compete better now, just so happens we have an average keeper now.

Think we could do with a better keeper but also think we are too light weight at present, cuntz like big bobo mjallby valgaeren wouldn't stand off Wee pretty boy s like Neymar admiring, also had box box strong midfielder s like wanyama ledley and brown in they teams crunching them, like the skill full football hi intensity Brendan plays but feel we need a bit more steel in the team

    Exactly my point... it's unacceptable!

But some people are so far up Rodger's a$$, they think the guy can do no wrong!

Some people are even deluded enough to think, that getting pumped is all part of Brendan's big long term master plan going forward!! (how much more delusional can a football fan be, than that!?) lol

So you say we compete better now than we did then, we lost 7-0 to them now and we were beating and drawing with them then. ,
