Game of the season

Say what you want about strach, when things do work we get ALOT of value for the 25-35 quid we pay for a ticket, what has been your personal game of the season?

BEFORE YOU VOTE: please, base it on best quality game and not just the score line, or the mannor we won: i.e. shakthar was an average game, but the manor we won in was amazing so it maybe your fav match of the season but thats not what i'm asking, i mean on footballing terms - what was your fav?

spartak home - especially 2nd , half and extra time.

 

wet for yesterday but if my game of the season would have been 5-1 at pittodrie, wasn't an option though

 

Spartak was a just a great game, had everything and was such a tense game of footy

 

i tried to just do the better quality opponent games, i.e. champs league and the monkey's and hibs, but there hasn't really been a classic hibs encounter this season has there?
5-1 up there was a great result and obviously we played well, could have maybe added that and the 5-0 against hearts at parkhead, eveything we done that day worked to perfection
problem is people maybe won't have those games stuck out in there heads as a classic the 5/6 listed surely will... if not they have amnesia

 

spartak, great atmosphere and winning on penalties made it special but also a great game in terms of the standard of football on display

 

no you're right * you posted the most important games of the season. just felt the game at pittodrie was the best fitba we played all year but a you say it was only aberdeen not milan, der hun or benfica

 

The most dominant game we have played was the first OF game 16/04/2008 (home)

Played them off the park for 90 minutes.

stuck between rangers and spartak.
spartak i never seen untill the next day, seen the first half only then had to go out. listened to it on the radio, pulled over the car the lot for the most part of the second half and pen's.
rangers on wednesday we dominated and was great...

 

For excitement and edge of your seat stuff Spartak was great but they created alot of chances the Huns game we played them off the park. You asked for our best perforemance and because the oposition hardly got a sniff then the huns game has to win this poll IMO.

 

Huns game on the 16th, ending their stranglehold over us was very significant

 

ultimatly game of the season - not to be ruled purely by result though is the question, for playing them off the park then it would be st mirren or something in a 5-1

I don't understand why you discount the Shakthar game then offer it as one of the options?

Anyway the 3-2 game vs Rangers was the best not just of the season but for a good couple of years in my opinion.

What about the home game vs Barca this year. Despite the defeat don't tell me you didn't enjoy that - it was an incredible game.

 

i don't discount it mate, i mean , try not be overly concerned on the result alone.
i'm sure people thought it was a great game, personally i never - i thought the game against them or spartak was much better, some people may well have thought the shaktar game was better- thats why its in

 

For the best performance of the season i would sayd the first parkhead game vs rangers


as for a football match tht had everything i would have to say celtic - spartak, both played well and we cancelled out each other well.

 

the spartak game made me look 50 years older... it had everything!

 

16/4 Old firm for me. Atmosphere was incredible from 1hr before the match till 10 minutes after and every second in between.

 

Spartak at home was the best value for money game, had everything. Peformance wise, 5-1 away ( or was it 4-1?) away to St Mirren was good for me..
