    Not really. Breaks up opposition play well, fires team up, hard tackling and plays it safe usually.

    Not greatest at feet when dribbling, through ball/long passing.

    Like I said great at breaking up play, that'll explain the interceptions.

    And he plays it safe most of the time. He didn't have ability for long passing. That'll explain his pass success rate.

    All I said was he ain't the greatest footballer. Which is often the case with bull dog like defensive mids.

    An now I have not you but people telling me I'm not right because i don't think he's the best passer of the football in Europe.

    Don't think it is this specific line on Broony. As I pointed out, your posts usually have something negative about Celtic. Considering how well we are doing , it is surprising. But it's a forum and it is your opinion. But you can't be surprised you get a negative reaction. Just hope some aren't negative enough to accuse you of being a bluenose!:50:

    So the reason he’s posting the highest percentage passing stats is because he plays safe and there’s no other players in the Champions League that do the same?

    I think you should just concede you’re talking baws and we’ll move on.

    Last season he had the most succesfull rate of long passes for us in the Champions League. The majority going to Kieran Tierney.

    There’s a breakdown of it cutting about somewhere, that shows it definitely wasn’t just ‘playing it safe’

    This isn't a dig at Ntcham above by the way but it's what was getting floated about Broony by non Celtic haters last year when his stats were out..

    "Aye but he only passes 5 yard's back" "anybody could do that" etc. Same type of *'s that throw about at Griff or Dembele for scoring goals for us in Scotland..

    Anyone can see he keeps us ticking over but his cross field passing, driving forward and instigating our attacks are often overlooked..

    Easy to see why the haters can't look past the hatred they have for him and respect that he is indeed a very good player...but strange when our fan's who see him weekly can't see it either..
