    Might be controversial but even when Simunovic and Boyata are both fit I think he could even stake a claim for a midfield spot in Europe.

    His composure on the ball is a huge bonus and he sprayed a couple beauties across the park tonight. No denying that when he is up for it he can be a very assured player.

    The 2nd goal i dont have any real complaints about. Atleast we done the guys cheek in. The first though... i still don't understand how a ball can bounce over our defence, and gordon end up about 30 yards from goal... is it only our team who has a brain fart at this level?

    He did well, but a proper CB wouldn't have been beaten by that 2nd, Boyata totally to blame for 1st, maybe a Jozo or like would a stepped in though as the 2 should have been able to deal with the bounce.

    Shouldn't be playing at the back for me.

    thought button was superb and a big reason why we were so good on the ball last night, complete confidence in him on the ball no matter where he is on the pitch - best passer in the team and defended well

    i think playing him at cb has been very beneficial for him he seems to have gotten a bit of dig in his game, which was severely lacking before, when we have fully fit CB's id like to see him get a few starts as in a deep holding roll they way he can pass out from the back is ideal for us.

    He was giving me the fear today, lost count of the amount of ropey moments he had but luckily St J were hopeless and we were able to recover. That's not to say he didn't have just as many if not more good moments driving out of defence and starting attacks though, so well played.

    For me mate, when everyone fit he doesn't start..

    He lacks the physicality to be a top defender and he's doesn't offer as much as our other midfielders.

    Great squad player tho..
