At times in the game I was just watching Brown vs Vidal, Broony absolutely dominated him the whole time. He's worth his weight in gold in these types of games.

He has a great mentality. Put him up against any player in the world and he will go and give them a hard time of it. Scared of nobody. It's a great quality for a captain to have, especially when we come up against teams that have a lot more quality than we do.

He’s really stepped up under Brendan. He’s been brilliant.

As long as he looks after himself I could honestly see him having another few years at us and retiring just before he's 40 in the same way that Giggs and Scholes did.

That would mean he would be Captain throughout 10 in a row. If that was the case then Brown would go down in the history books as a true Celtic Legend. Up there with the likes of McNeil, McGrory, Jimmy Johnstone, and McStay.

If he retired tomorrow he'd go down as a Celtic legend.

We have had this debate a million times before on here but he definitely is a legend now. No disputing.

Record European appearance holder, over 400 appearances, captain through one of the most successful periods in the club's history, so many memorable moments.

When I say Legend I mean the best of the best to play for Celtic such as Larsson, McNeil, McGrory, Jinky etc....debatable if you could class him in the same group as those players at the moment. Brilliant player no doubt.
