Real Madrid 2-1 down away to girona having been up 1-0. Love it to stay like that.

 

Girona have been good to watch, feisty team and their attacking players have looked good. Real Madrid have been terrible, attacking players havent really got into the game. Ronaldo's barely had a sniff of the ball and his coupon has been tripping him the whole game, he looked like he was going to start greetin when Girona went 2-1 up.

Been a weird manager, 2 Champions Leagues and 1 League in 2 seasons of management yet nobody really considers him a manager. If anyone else had managed that they'd probably be being worshipped as a * of management. Probably cause he never really changed anything other than playing Casemiro more and going more 4-3-3 than 4-2-3-1 but Real Madrid's style of play hasn't really changed under him. They still don't really have a style of play other than just to attack and shoot and cross from any angle, always weak and open to counters and not much real creativity.

 

The * has happened to them?

 

Probably just Ronaldo turning to *.

His game has went even further down hill, he never really done a lot before but this season in 9 games in the League and Champions League he has not done a single tackle nor interception at all, not even 1, Bale for a comparison has done 13 and has played about 250 minutes less. He only has 1 assist as well.

In the League he has only 1 goal from 40 attempted shots.

 

Hasn't he got a few CL goals though?

That tackling stat is crazy. Such a selfish * is Ronaldo.

You'd imagine everyone on the park should be doing a tackle or interception per game even in any game no matter where you are playing. To have done 0 in 9 games just shows the sheer laziness and lack of even bothering your * to get near anyone add that to how often he's offside 14 times in those 9 games you get the picture of him not even being interested.

He has only done 3 crosses in the 9 games as well, he hasn't crossed much for years but even still 1 cross every 3 games is unheard of.

 

Seemed pretty obvious that ronaldo could only play as centre forward now and have two wingers either side of him laying everything on a plate but zidane hasn't done that this season

You couldn't blame them now though if they did. You get the feeling that they'd have done the exact same stuff wether he was manager or not, there's no real tactics getting used or style of play being worked on that are noticable. Real Madrid have just continued to play the same way they have for years now probably over 5 years.

The only thing Real Madrid have really done different in like the last 8 years out all the managers they've had is that when Mourinho was there they were a lot more aggressive, sleekit and sneaky especially in big games there was more diving, fouling, complaining to referees, Pepe and Ramos assaulting * and trying to get people sent off that kind of died away over the last 3 or 4 years since he left.

Real Madrid with the players they have Carvahal, Marcelo, Modric, Kroos and Isco should really be trying to play classier more dominant football like Barca, PSG, Bayern, Man City or even just Dortmund or Napoli but they always just seem to play random stuff and rely on set peices and individuals to pull something out. They've never seemed to have had a style or gameplan since Pellegrini left which was about 2010 I think.
