Which sadly means that @NorwichCelt is the first to be knocked out. Admittedly, The Big Moon is an act I was not familiar with coming into this competition, and divided opinion, with some really liking their stuff. But have given a few of their tunes a listen to tonight, and they did have some stuff to offer. Bit someone has to be the first to bite the dust, sadly.

"The Road" is another decent tune of theirs that thought was pretty decent.

Unfortunately for @Vinnie BBQ once again an early exit. Am grateful that he decided to participate as always, and always with an interesting choice and this was no different. Gladys Knight is one of the most soulful women to lend her voice to recorded music and thought that she could have made a bit of a dent in this comp. But sadly no.

TBH, I didn't think it was possible for this to happen. Not taking anything away from Katy Perry, who pretty much had to play her ace, when I saw what song had been selected felt for sure that Janis would be safe as houses and I suspect if the studio version of this song had've been presented, I dare say it may well have made the difference. But then again, what do I know? It was @obafgkmlt choice to make, and while the footage of Janis in her prime is rare it was a brav chpoce tp persevere with live renditions.

And then a vid of a tribute to her, by Joss Stone and Melissa Ethridge. For those that do take the time, it is totally worth it, especially Melissa Ethridge, who is amazing in her own right but completely blows Joss Stone off the stage in this, and that is even before taking into account she was going through kemotherapy at the time. You can see just how much passion and how much of an inspiration Janis Joplin has been for so many that have follwoed in her footsteps.

Considering every girl in my life loves a bit of bling, so it seemed appropriate,

Once again a chance for the songs never released as a Single the chance to shine. It can be live or in studio etc, it doesn't matter, so long as it is not listed as a single on their discography... and yes, I do check, lol.

As this was announced a few days ago, most of you probably have had time to go through your represented artist's back catalogue to find something that little bit special, so time to fire them in. The sooner that is done, the sooner we can move on.

Structure

There will be 4 Groups of 5 Artists each.

1 will be eliminated from each Group.

So 4 in total will be knocked out this Round.
