It makes sense, given that V has claimed a role and character as has Dazza, don't think either of them are lying. Trooper would give the false result to the cop, that seems the most plausible way this has played out.
I'm putting my kneck on the line as well sticking up for V.

 

The only thing making me nervous about jumping on this vote is the fact there's probably 3 factions left outwith town - Alien, Mafia and a SK. If this is wrong were fairly *.

Everything seemed quiet at night, but someone was swiped down by an axe. The target was hit but seemed to be able to get away. The axe wielder didn't know if his victim was dead or not.

Yeah looks like Tim tried to kill someone that was protected/unkillable then the serial killer and orcs got him.

If serial killer needs to be killed twice then Tim might have taken one of his lives which is good. Two scum targeting the same person is good too even tho it was a townie.

Dazza was right about V, I wanna hear what he has to say today. Shocked he survived tho because he outed a scum so someone must have protected him. Which makes me think Tim did target a 2 lifer rather than a protected *
