Was poor but also produced some of our best moments so wouldn't be too harsh on him. The guy's still settling in and wasn't exactly helped by Brown being terrible and a lack of forward options. The amount of times we had possession and only Griff available to pump long to was shocking.

He effected the game better than any of his more experienced CM team mates..

Was the nice pass the one to Tierney or was it the goal he set up for Sinclair? Just so I know.

He has been very slack in his last 3 or so games but i still believe he will become a top player.
Needs to settle with a consistent midfield partner and a settled backline.
Given a prolonged run of games i expect him to find form and show his ability.

I haven't wrote him off, he might become a high-level player in future but i can only judge him on what i've seen and in 3 CL group games he has been poor and that is the truth of it.

Sorry, 2 nice passes. Are you gonna try and tell me he's played well in any of our group games so far? If you are then you don't know football. Just so you know.

The whole side were exposed last night because of our tactics and class of opposition.

Ntcham had more of an influence than both Brown & Armstrong imo tho.

The weight of the pass for KT in Belgium shows the quality he has.. and assisted another. Scored in Astana and has got the only goal of the game twice domestically. He's had an impact.

We've not bought the finished article patience is required.. and his passing percentage needs to improve. Showed good physicality last night when he got muscled off the ball near the touchline and won the ball back using strength and determination.

Don't need to play him every big game needs to be bled in slowly.

I honestly believe we will look back at this part of the thread and laugh at the doubt around him.

So, just so we’re on the same page, you were admitting here that you were wrong earlier, yes? He ended up the decisive player against Anderlecht, no doubt. Opened them up for the 1st, set up the 3rd, despite being severely shaky.

He played well last night as well, really grew into the game especially when we got a bit of movement with Rogic and Dembele on the pitch.

Still though, 21 years all, 90% pass accuracy and 154 passes so far in the Champions League, in 3 games, 2 of which are two of the best teams in the world? Bhoys done alright I suppose.

Embarrassing that people are writing him off after less than 3 months. If Brendan thinks there’s a player in there then I’m happy to go along with that.

Needs to be given the season to find out exactly how Brendan can bring out the best in him. Boyata’s improvement over the last 12 months is evidence that good coaching can bring a player on leaps and bounds. Have a feeling N’tcham will have a lot of people eating their words come May.

He's not as bad as some are making out, but he does make some howlers in terrible areas of the field. But so does Broony I suppose

He's been pish in Europe and even in domestically. I still reckon there's a player in there, just a matter of getting him out.

Personally I think he's already proven he's worth at least what we paid for him with a lot more to come.

Dont see much wrong with his performance. Anderlecht was another matter. That was pish. Bayern he done quit well if we discount the odd efe moment.

The main reason I hardly ever comment on this is because some of you talk some amount of pish. We could have messi and some of you still would call for him to get the chop.

I think he’s feeling the pressure. He knows he been brought in to do a job at CL level and he’s struggled to adapt. He will come good, I’ve seen to many signs of his quality to not think otherwise.

Were was brown at 21 years, Griff?, Armstrong?, Boyata?, Lustig?, Wanyama?, Forster? I could go on.

    * gonna give this guy a break, he's fallen foul of the horrendous youth set ups at a team like City and only had 1 year of senior football, which just so happened to be in a league far superior to ours, in a team that even now would probably give us a right good go.

He's a player and you can as clear as day see that in his technical ability with the ball, yes he's not been up to pat in CL games but he can and will improve, just have some patience and allow Rodgers to work his magic on the guy.

It's definitely a confidence issue with him, like against Dundee he was awful until he scored then suddenly upped a few gears and was driving us forward and battling a lot better in midfield. Just going to take him time to find consistency.
