However, did just get a late entry into this and 1 late drop.

Which means we are at 22.

Which also means that if I take part, this brings us up to 23, which is an awkward number to start from. Which means there is one of 2 options:

1. We start with uneven Groups.
2. I don't participate

If we go with Option 1, as there is a play off this first round it shouldn't (i hope) matter too much. So, instead of a 4 person play-off, this would become a 5 person play-off.

Also, if people are OK with my taking part, I have arranged for an impartial auditor (so to speak) - @CookieMonster . Due to work commitments beginning next week, he has had to withdraw from taking partm but he is familiar with all of this and as he is not involved, I believe he would be impartial.

Integrity and fairness to all is essential, and have always run an honest game however, if I take part, while I trust that people would take my word for it, it's only fair everyone feels as though there is accountability on the part of management (me, lol).

Make no mistake, I am still hosting this comp, but if people are still OK with me taking part, I would request that when people are sending in their votes, please do so to both me and Cookie, and if there is any complaints re vote results he can act as guarantor in this instance.

Or there is the second option, that I sit out, and that all of the above is not necessary.

Have proposed the above arrangements just so everyone is aware of what the situation is going into this.

I am willing to comply with however people want in this instance.

Round 1​

This First Round has 23, divided into 2 Groups of 11 & 12.

The top 9 from each Group advances directly to Round 2.

Those finishing 10th & 11th (and 12th in the 1 Group with 1 extra) go to a play-off.

So there will be 5 Person Play Off.

2 Will Survive. 3 will be eliminated at that point.

But we will get there in due course.

Songs will be posted in a dedicated Song thread.

Will have these up shortly.
