How likely is it that both discarded VT for better town roles?

Must not be able to post until day 3 again.

 

Especially the tip.

Didn't you say one of the discards were of interest to you? With more Town roles in play I'd say it wasn't unusual to see VT being discarded.

The Cop and the two Godfather discards are the most interesting for me.

What I mean, is I think it's unlikely that both have discarded VT for better town roles, and that one, IMO, is likely non-town.

Last game many non-town roles came from VT discards, including my own. Think there was at least 3-4. It's unlikely, I think, that anyone actively accepts VT when more interesting roles are available, and thus I think maybe one might of been discarded for a decent non-town role.

Pure guesswork.

 

For me cookie is suspect but has defended himself well enough...

Tim also discarded the chance to choose cop. That's a role that would have been useful for town but less useful for scum @Tim-Time 1888

 

Why would the godfather ones automatically arouse your suspicion?

I rejected the godfather role because:

a) didn't want it
b) all mafia mix ups from my 3 cards were *

Based on the fact that everyone who plays in this game is able to mix up the cards to choose their allignment AND role, I'd be looking at the ones who have rejected town allignment first and foremost, nevermind the roles....

 

In the Greater Idea Mafia, you are given two cards from which to pick your role. In Greatest Idea Mafia, you are given 3 cards to pick your role from. However, you must choose two out of three cards to create your role for this game.

What does this mean?

It means that you pick your alignment from one card and your role from another card.

Alignment = Town, Mafia, Alien, Werewolf, Loner, SK, Cult etc

Role = Vanilla, Goon, Cop, Doctor, Vigilante etc

Did you seek clarity on the Town Godfather role? We've obviously never had that.

Town role possibles outnumber significantly, so it's possible to receive 3 Town cards.

i did indeed. i thought it might have been similar to the vigilante role, but it's not - it's basically a VT role.

 

I wrote mafia mix ups - that was an error.

I did indeed reject the werewolf godfather card - essentially means (unless I was given TWO werewolf-based cards) that I am not any werewolf character, and certainly not any godfather character - be that werewolf, town, mafia, alien etc.

 

Hard to imagine Slippy turning down those (potential) roles, without having something serious on the back burner, got to admit..

Keano turning down Cop Lover fits is understandable, think he may of even done the same with the lover role previously. Do we think Cop Lover would be the only town cop in the game?
