I Hit the post 4 times in a game when I was 3-1 down.

Defending has gone out the window in this one. One touch passing is almost impossible to stop.

I just dont understand why FIFA have some random games scripted? It is insanely infuriating, and even more obvious in FIFA 18, as if it could become more obvious. Players just stop and all players on yellow cards always get into legbreaker tackle positions just so to make sure you Will have players sent of. Ridiculous and breaks the game for IMO. Wonder If it is a bug in the game engine, but FIFA never commented on it.

Thank * for the patch, what a difference it's made! Keepers are spot-on, goals feel rewarding again. It plays a brilliant game of football, close control & movement is lightyears ahead of 17. Bit of a disgrace they released it in that state on disc but at least they've rectified it.

Now need guests reintroduced to UT, what a bizarre decision to take it away Supposed to be a social game and they remove the best feature in the hope of more £££, which they're not going to get.

Getting a lot better now, am too used to playing fifa fast but you just have to slow everything down use one two’s and quick passing, same with defending not diving in or sprinting everywhere. Makes a huge difference.

Still weird though against AI Messi isn’t that great, play better with Montero for some reason. If anyone is building a la liga side get Montero (LM) pacey as * and Partey (cdm) who just beasts the midfield.

 

I actually preferred it before this * update, it’s now returned to ping pong football. I’m trading this in and buying the grown ups game PES.

 

If anyone has a cheap german/bundesliga team. Instead of spending 30k plus on Timo Werner. Get this guy instead for 9.4k. He discards for just under 9'4k so costs nothing pretty much. Has 4 star 4 star and with a finisher chem style the * a machine.

I packed him and tried him off the bench. Now I've built a German team around him. He's class. Big Alky.

 

Aye he's brilliant. There's a german cdm inform in the bundesliga 2 called Konrad or something. He's discard inform but is brilliant, he never gets tired and has some ping on him aswell.

 

Far from the best feature. UT is competitive. It's not properly competitive if you have a mate playing with you.

I'd never want to play UT with a mate. That's what seasons or offline is for.

 

Well in mate. Big tip for playing on legendary, take your time and do simple passes. And if your still drawing or winning at the 70 minute mark the AI goes all out attack and the best counter to it is to make your team ultra attack, They only have 1 cb and you counter with 2/3 players. So easy goals and will push you towards the 2700ish points mate

 

When you get your option of the first 4 games always play the first 2 on legendary they are pretty easy as they are low rated or * chem. Soon enough you'll be able to smoke the AI no bother. Ultimate difficulty just rips the * though so I wouldn't recommend it haha

 

I had 5 wins 5 losses in my first 10 games. I blame Buffon on 3 losses.

It's a pain in the * to play but the rewards are great.

 

Bought it last night as work gave me a gift voucher for Amazon.

Looking forward to pumping hours into wasting my life away.

That's what FUT Champions is for, that rightly remains single-player. People have the chance to opt out of playing against guests so there was no reason to remove it, not to mention it's clearly tougher to play with 2.

Building your team with a mate and trying to win Division 1 is/was the most fun I've had in FIFA the last 4/5 years. Seasons gets dull quick and I never play offline. It made zero sense to remove the most sociable feature.

 

I think it's sometimes harder to play against two, if the two are good FIFA players. Because they can cover a man while one defends the ball, or make runs that the computer doesn't make. I often struggle against two and I'm a player that's between Elite and Gold so I'm not bad. It really annoys me. It's easy to miss the guest joining aswell.
