Celtic have obviously got wind of something big happening redevelopment wise in the east end over the coming years. The hotel itself is risk free...if it doesn't make the money they wanted it will be sold to a hotel chain to run

Purely based on the number of people who took the Celtic Park tour on a rainy January day like I did, I would say the museum would be a great money-spinner. The tour is decent, but a full blown museum with things like a gift-shop, cafe etc will make a lot more profit. Also a hotel by the ground seems logical for people who come from all over the place to see us. Might stop a few of those people leaving early to beat the rush into the city as well. Hope it has a cracking pub in it too :50:

You juat need to look at the amount of business celtic have taken in since they opened up the restaurant and bar in CP to know that a super hotel woukd send financial gain sky high.

    * have taken a * load of businesa away from the gallowgate though, especially with the buses coming over from Ireland - they're just heading straight off the bus and into the bar at CP :48:

You're right the kerrydale suite has definitely pulled in a lot more punters to the CP area before matches. It is decent in there tbf but you can't beat the gallowgate after a win! No rebs in the kerrydale :34:

Yes those figure were out of the air but it doesn't matter if it makes 100,000 grand more or a million to our club it's still a step in the right direction so your point was quite valid

This will be a great addition. Celtic will never make big money out of Scottish football so its good to see us exploring other means to up our profits. Expect more bitter envious glances coming from the other side of Glasgow:bye1:

aye we have loads a fans coming over from abroad every week, even if its quite through week it could make its money back from match days.just a theory.theres the emirates gym and spa across the road annall,so it will be quite a good hotel option for anybody in Glasgow.

Would this be a Celtic themed hotel or would it just be a hotel “associated” with us?

Id imagine whatever it will be celtic wont actually run it will they?

No, it will be an established hotel with Celtic taking x amount percent of all profits.

Just based on my experience of driving past the Celtic store in Argyll street when it's pishing down and freezing and all you see is tourists coming out the shop with bags of Celtic stuff we will make a killing off this

    I hope it's a Celtic themed hotel.

    That's what the drawings show.

If not, I'd like a Sevco themed hotel.
