Yep. I'm glad if he's gonna be out for a couple of week's that it's happened now instead of a week ago..

Quarter final away. Huns away and Anderlecht away. The wee man has done his bit and could arguably have been motm in all 3..

We've some fairly run of the mill game's coming up so it's come at a better time. If he has to sit out of Scotland then whatever..

Armstrong, McGregor/Ntcham and Rogic will terrorise Hibs..

An incredible player for us no doubt about it. Was an absolute tank tonight, led the team well as he often does and was a huge pain in the * for them all night. Absolutely shat it when he had to come off but fortunately Bitton had one of his better games so didn't miss him as much. Wonder what will happen when he eventually is phased out of the team, couldn't imagine us without him.

BR on @ScottBrown8 injury: "He said when he came off that he just felt something tight and didn't want to aggravate it.

BR: "So I will not know for the next 24-48 hours to what that's at."

Has Broony finally grown up? :56:

Years gone by he'd play to the end and be out for 3 months :56:

He's really matured at this level. Replacing the current Scott Brown will be a tall order.

If he's out for the internationals then Scotland have zero chance of making the play offs.

Replacing him will be a massive task. Out of all our players last night, seeing Brown come off was probably the only guy who had me worried about the result, even while we were 2-0 up.

When he does go, it's not just his footballing ability that will be missed, he's a leader in the mould of Gerard at Liverpool, Maldini at Milan, Terry at Chelsea (minus the massice * factor) etc. Hopefully that time isn't arriving soon.

Tbh that's something that still concerns me.

If this is a longish injury (4-6 weeks) I hope he takes the appropriate time to recover and doesn't rush back.

SCOTT BROWN is confident he’ll be fit for Scotland’s crunch World Cup clash with Slovakia next week.

The Celtic skipper picked up a hamstring injury in Wednesday night’s 3-0 away win over Anderlecht.

Broony felt a tightness in his muscle and limped off in the second half.

Gordon Strachan was left fearing his captain would be forced to pull out of next Thursday’s crucial qualifier.

But SunSport understands Brown is optimistic he’ll be able to shrug off the injury over the next seven days.

As yet he’s not had the results of a scan to determine the true extent of the damage.

He’s set to miss Celtic’s clash with Hibs on Saturday but hopes to meet up with the Scotland squad on Sunday.

Just pretend you're still injured Broony. I'd rather you were fit for Celtic. :giggle1:
