    Loved that tackle, lol.

Sure he'll be back to his best, but don't think he'* the heights of recent times this season.

He found it difficult in the first half and his distribution wasn't as good as usual..

How long did it take for him to take a throw-in? That was slightly frustrating, just through it backwards quickly and build again..

But he has set such high standards..

And he is so composed as if he's played there for 10yrs..

Nowhere near his standard in parts on Saturday, wasn't showing for the ball enough first half. The passion always shows but he's playing within himself a bit just now imo.

The Huns packed that side of the pitch obviously identifying it as a real danger area There wasn't much room even to take a throw in. I thought his distribution was poor by his high standards in the first half but he still put in an amazing cross only for Griff to head over..
He was untroubled defensively which is his main role so in that sense he strolled it..

If Ralston continues to develop we will have a major threat on both wings from the full back positions. But both are solid defenders..

Funny how you see a game different. He completely owned that Candeias and roughed him up as well I thought..

Had a couple of chances as well he was unlucky with and his ball for Griff early on was sumptuous..

I think he's a stick on to score against these rodents this year..

Thought he didn’t look troubled for a second.

Think folk may be looking for something from him that he’s not been asked to do i.e. play left wing for 90 minutes.

I think he’s adding to his game all the time and it’s easy to forget he’s still learning.

    Yip.

Got to factor in also, that under Rodgers' forever-changing formations during a single game that he has more than one singular role - be that left back/wing back/winger/inside defender.

Tierney excites me to * man, such an important player with such a senior heed on his shooders.

Their right hand side was clearly gonna be the main attacking point with Tavernier and Candeias both being 'winger's' so we'd of known that and had KT not bombing up quite as much, although he still did to good effect..

He's becoming more rounded as a player by the game and positionally aware, even if that does take away some of his constant marauding runs..

What I did notice on Saturday was Kieran was a bit more aerially-dominant. Quite impressive considering that's his most weakest area of his game.

Other than that, he was superb I thought.

Football fans are so fickle at times and it's such small margins in big moments. Personally I think KT was excellent on Saturday, he strolled it defensively, but really my point is that if Griffiths scored that header then everyone raves about Tierney's involvement and suddenly he goes from "quiet/poor by his standards" to a man of the match candidate.
