A 1-0 goal victory is as sweet as a 5-0 victory in my books They all count. Especiailly against Der Hun at home.
I don't see why the Sevco fans are panning Pedro so much. There wasn't anything he or anybody else could have done with the current resources at their disposal,to be honest.

 

Likewise mate would have loved 3,4 or 5 but what was pleasing was how we bossed them throughout and showed them zero respect in their own back yard. Their headlines are mad Pedro at half time and * all worthy from the game.

I think today made me realise how although this is a big game it's decreased in importants. We are miles better than them and they are so * it's delightful in not even caring about them.

Although they did good I am still not sold on Boyata with his mazy runs like some beckenbeuar into their 25 yard area, nor on Gordon who is like Mignolet on shop stopping but always looking like their is a mistake in him.

Didn't see the second goal as my stream momentarily died but glad to say my earlier post was correct. Our class would should in the second half and we would win 2-0.

By the end of the match it was target practice for us.

 

Loved Commons as a player but he's brutal as a pundit

 

Think we will see their demise at parkhead, we didn't even get out of first gear for this, do honestly believe the team conserved their energy today.

At home though I can see us really * tanking this lot, as they will probably pick themselves up with a few reasonable results, let their confidence get the better of them and come out all guns blazing and we will just liquidate them into oblivion.

But I am thinking more of the existing quality and resale value
of our current team, with regards to players like Dembele, Griffiths and Simunovic, Tierney etc and on loan players like Roberts and Eduardo.

I suppose Sevco and Pedro have been forced to spend to try and bridge the gap between them and us. The problem for Pedro I think is twofold. I doubt he is up to speed with Scottish football, and he has also elected to go down the road of acquiring known trusted players to try and provide a spine to his team.
Only time will provide the wisdom or not of that choice.

I also suspect they will go in for Jamie Walker again in January on a pre contract.

 

Thoughts on the game:
A stroll in the park at the bigotdome. Did not really get out of training mode.
Scoreline should have been more emphatic but a win against the subhumans is always a pleasure.
Pena looks a "steal" at £4.5M
The new Baresi at fault for both goals.
Pedro has lost his marbles.
Andy Walker is a HUN * socket.
Peter Lovedtodive is a delusional hun.

Have to give a special mention to pena ,he has to be one of the worst footballers I've ever witnessed

To a man, they gave up after the second goal .We could have run riot.

 

Surely someone can change this to Pedro scoring a header against the huns.... in full hoops kit.... that would be funny, with raging Orcs behind the goal.......
