It is shocking. When have we ever been dismantled like that at CP?
There's been the odd heavy defeat (Juve, PSG under Tommy), very rare; but they happen. There has been a few deserved losses (more common lately, but still quite rare historically), such as Barça a few times and BMG at CP last year. We have been dismantled away (most recently at the Nou Camp).

But I've never seen us so thoroughly dismantled at CP. Never. And we've had much weaker sides than this in Europe before.

This was shocking in the literal sense of the word. Even now I still can't quite believe it. It doesn't quite feel real yet.

There has been a real sea change in European football this last 5 years.

    I personally wasn't shocked.

They have perhaps the best side midfield-to -attack unit right now in the world.

We played a RB at CB (Lustig) and also a RB novice against a guy worth 200m.

If you told me before the game that we'd be 3-0 down at half time and then lose another two in the 2nd half I wouldnt have reacted shocked. Id have thought "hmm, we have a * defence for the game, and PSG won 4-0 against barca last season without neymar and mbpappe."

This perspective makes me feel better. I like it!

Tend to agree, but would expand defensive culpability to our midfield as well, who didn't do much to stem the tide, and on the few occasions where we had the ball or it broke to us, generally gave it back as quick.

Hard to say on their goalkeeper because we never really tested him, but if I was Brendan or any other opposing manager I would be targeting their left back and goalkeeper now, we won't get any change out of Danny Alves, felt sorry for Sinclair actually.
But that Rabiot, what a fucken player he is.

I saw Rabiot as a 17 year old, playing for one of the French under age teams, back in 2012. I said to my son and a few acquaintances that he was going to be a real talent. They scoffed, needless to say, they're not scoffing now.
