    I still think we can do ok in the Europa. The difference between the latter stages of both competitions is massive. United won the Europa last season and they are/were streets behind the likes of PSG.

    I don't have any stats in front of me, but I'd imagine even Edinson Cavani at £60m+ was more than we'd spent in about 20 odd years...

    I was watching with a work mate who supports Spurs and he was getting more * off with us conceding than I was. It was a difficult one to take, but I expected a 5-0 drubbing. PSG will go far this year...won't win it though.

    You cant get far with that defence in Europe. Many players lacked the last good touch to get second balls and to get past players. Too often the ball stuck under the feet(Tierney and Griffiths) and bad decisions were made. We move on tough and the Anderlecht away game will be the game that will tell how this campaign is gonna be.
