    Like Roberts vs Beerman.

Up against a great, shouldn't be too harsh on the boy.

Need to see more of this guy but as it stands I'm struggling to see why he's so highly rated. He's pedestrian and clumsy. Also frustrates why he always lumps the ball up the park. He doesn't look comfortable with the ball.

Holding absolutely nothing against the Bhoy.

First game in the CL against NEYMAR/MBAPPE/CAVANI - £400m+ against an 18 year old.

    * it, we were never going to get anything from tonight - think of the future. He grew into the game and gained confidence.

    Proud of his efforts tonight.

Thrown to the lions tonight. Hopefully he'll learn a bit from that.

Was the only one who showed no fear.

People will jump on his back on here because Neymar got in behind for 1st goal but let's be honest Neymar could get in behind any RB.

Brutal first half, put himself in positions where he never should have been. Made himself very vulnerable, rather than Neymar ripping him apart.

Second half he gave everything, and loved his passion when he made that run and pumped up the crowd.

He's obviously got a long way to go, but there is a player here. This will turn out to be a great learning experience for him. He's faced the best the world has to offer and he gave it a decent shot in the second half. He will improve.

Can absolutely be proud. Gave it his all, showed passion and grit. Got caught up in * with cuntybaws and let his frustration out. Shows he cared.

    Chin up son.

Couldn't have done any better or worse than he did tbh.

I saw it... Even that was doused in luck more than ball skill.

Honestly, I'm not wishing the boy to fail. Far from it. Just saying that so far, based on the few times I've saw him on the park, I don't understand the 'hype'.

Thought he was a bit feart in the first half, but the bhoy came out all guns blazing in the second.

I really couldn't give a * about being hammered by a team of that class and gulf - it's the end game I'm thinking about, and guys like Ralston etc getting this experience now is absolutely vital

Really?? I thought in the second half he was one of our better players. Took on Neymar in more than one way. Got into the box and had a number of good tackles. Other than (maybe) KT who was a better at the back than AR?

The team we were against was a bit special. Imagine being 18. Imagine making your 5th start for a team. Imagine facing the most expensive player in the world. Imagine being exposed by a world class pass and going behind. How would you handle it? Would you be showing passion and determination and not flinching when the no1 player in the world goes head to head?

    Get real.

PSG are a good/great team. Better than Barca last year. We could have played better but having AR as RB was not the difference. If anything I thought in the second half AR was one of our more settled players.

Luck? Nah mate, * determination. As was him being in the road to clear it off the line. His timing of tackles tonight and his marking.

Surprisingly, I think the only defender that actually played badly tonight was Jozo. There was just a bit of a lack of defending as a unit (as is to be expected) and a lack of protection from midfield - which wasn't to be. Broony was the only one covering, Armstrong ought to be ashamed of his performance in the 1st 45.

Poor like most of the team first half. Much better second half. Loved how he was getting the crowd going in the second half.
