I've thought from the get go that 2 serial killers would be excessive, and that whoever was doing killing with a crossbow was probably a vigilante. Might need to have a good read over the write ups as my heads a bit all over the shop with these reveals.

Is it not possible that Tim and Idioteque are both Mafia?

One thing that has just come back to me is that when I called out Idioteque at the very beginning about his character, Tim was very quick to make a smart * comment about it.

 

Well the machete man and the crossbow, plus the deaths, means that we possibly had a one shot vigilante. No death last night maybe means he's just VT now.

Definitely possible that they're both mafia, but what we know for certain is that Tim Time is mafia beyond any doubt. He must be lynched.

I'd need to go back and look at that, but with ODWC being the insane cop, neither Idioteque or Tim Time can be allowed to survive, given the investigations.

 

Tim Time was also absent on the lynch for the mafia godfather, Aidan. He didn't want to lynch his teammate after losing borobob.

 

Noticed this at the time but didn't think much of it, looking at it now it could be a slip up.

The very first but seems to be out of context with anything that's being said in the thread so could have been meant for a Mafia chat. 'To be Honest, I have the town on my side..' Or something like that. I could just be letting my imagination run wild again

 

I thought Bob Aidan and Tim were. the ones going by their posts and said so but Mintys role stuff has thri me a bit.

Insane Cop is where his investigations give back the opposite result of what they should be. So town show as bad an mafia etc show as good. Insane cops aren't told they're insane. They have to work it out and as ODWC is officer Doofy, it makes perfect sense.

 

Also the comment below that 'No way!...' Seems a bit false to me, that was in relation to Slippy's post regarding Eddies role, which we now know wasn't the case (lol).

 

The fact he showed as good, in the Insane Cop's investigations mean that he has to be lynched.

 

I won't be voting until tomorrow but I am certainly leaning that way.

 

Ok. Well I just checked my PMs. I can't roleblock the same player twice. So I'll roleblock Idioteque tonight. That's why we have to lynch Tim Time first as he is 100% mafia.

 

Another thing I just noticed is that one of Bob's first posts was to say that myself and Idioteque had started with bizarre behaviour. I responded by admitting I had started stupidly but asked him to explain why he thought Idioteque had done so too.. Bob just ignored that question despite posting shortly after.

I reckon Tim and Idioteque are Mafia and Slippy (Bible John) is the serial killer.

 

All I can say is thank * you were aware of the insane cop role Minty.

It seems pretty obvious now.

 

I agree, although it might of came to light when we (inevitably) lynched Minty. Minty was on a fine line in this phase, after my findings, he would of gone had he not brought up the insane cop.

I had no idea about the insane cop role, but remember Minty knows this game (he has sent me that mafia wiki link before) and the only facts presentable at the moment are my findings. Insane findings or not, this is yet to be confirmed as none of those investigated have been lynched/killed.

It's not outwith the reals of possibility that Minty is playing a stormer and might just be about to fool us all into lynching a confirmed townie, as I myself am now very interested in the 'insane cop' role.

I had original doubts in my Minty investigation, not insane cop doubts, but doubts nonetheless. Hence my investigation of TT, Minty's sparring partner.

Remember, with the insane cop, investigations are reversed.

Here is my main thinking point at the moment - Does a serial killer come back as 'Good' or 'Bad'?

If it comes back as 'Good', as a normal cop, then that reverses to 'Bad' as insane cop.

Is that possible? Trying to play devils advocate here as Minty is still high on my list of suspects. He has already made false claims in this game.

 

What also makes me think Minty could be on to something, is the fact mafia didn't kill me.

Had Minty been mafia, given how I played the cop role last game, it would of been pretty obvious from their point of view (his pov certainly anyway) that I was cop.

But as I was, potentially, going against a non-mafia member, they must of thought I was just going after the wrong guy, and they were happy for me to pursue a lynch on Minty.

Bob sussed my role out in the last game, he knew I was cop and put me under the bus with the "Holy" post. Had I been going for a mafia member, in the same style he (they) would of copped on. I think.

I played the role naively, I admitted as much in the pm with Keano, but that naivety may actually have saved me from being killed by mafia.

This is getting pretty tedious now....

I'm going to be out most of the day, won't get a chance to properly post until tomorrow (except on the phone, which means it will be short and sweet), so on the off chance that I succumb to the powers of darkness during the night, I might as well call it in:

My main job is to hunt down the forces of evil, and in this case THE ONE who has been corrupted by the twisted finger of Satan himself.

I can vote for whom I suspect of being mafia (as I am town-aligned), but I cannot cast the deciding HAMMER vote.

But my main purpose is hunting down an evil one - the only downside of this role is that IF I manage to clearly identify the one who is possessed (I'd imagine it is the serial killer, was told I'd by hunting down someone who is aligned with the devil), and if I vote correctly and manage to reveal the TRUE IDENTITY of the beast , then I die by taking the devil into me and then committing suicide.

So on that note, all of my chips are being cashed in, and placed on the table.

Like I say, I cannot cast a HAMMER vote, but my suspicions lead me to someone who is playing the HAMMER vote very very well, and like I say I am here to hunt down the Devil.

Ok. That makes some sense. Certainly more than it did early this morning. This maybe the best spot in Mafia history if you are right Minty. If you are wrong you'll be lynched quicker than anything.
