    Most guys his age are arrogant, I ignored plenty advice I wish I had taken at that age too. The boy isn't Stephen Hawking by all accounts, got too much too soon, badly advised and probably surrounded by the wrong people.
    It is frustrating for Celtic fans as we know how good he could have been, but I think the abuse he is getting is harsh.

    Agree with everything you say, needs a guy like Brendan or a serious mentor, a waste of an exceptional talent seen to many of them over the years.

    Seems to start off really well at the clubs he's been at , more recently at Hearts, then he just disappears. Sure he got a Scotland call up while at Hearts ahead of Griff. Must be inside info on his attitude at clubs!. Bring him home.

    TONY WATT has revealed he rejected a lucrative move to English clubs to sign for Belgian lower league side OH Leuven because he feels at home in the country.

    The Scotland international claimed his first goal for his new club in an 8-0 rout in the Belgian Cup against FC Turnhout.


    And former Celtic Champions League hero Watt – who is now at his ninth club – insisted he moved to Belgium because he feels happiest in the country.

    He said: “In England I could have earned more money. But I chose to return to Belgium for football reasons.

    “The happiest moments of my career have been Belgium and I have always felt at home here.

    “In the summer, I took a rest period to relax and clear my head.


    “After that, I worked hard to lose weight and get physically ready again.

    “When I was at Lierse, I was only 19. When we beat Anderlecht and I scored, I would go and celebrate in a big beer country like Belgium!

    “But now I almost don’t drink anymore.

    “I have signed for an ambitious club who don’t belong in the Second Division. Together with Leuven, I want to make progress.”

    See all this 'he could've been special', 'wasted talent' etc., what is this actually based on? Looked nothing more than an average forward at his best. Decent pace but a bit braindead. On and off the field it seems.
