    Where the late drama all was.

    With Prodigy, Blur & Snow Patrol already safely through, but just a couple of points in it between the remaining artists in this Group it all came down to that crucial final vote and how he considered it, as it could have easily gone any of 3 ways.

    With The Beat, Bright Eyes and The Heavy waiting apprehensively on tenterhooks, time to put one of them out of their misery.

    For two of these this will be as far as they get. But all 3 have the opportunity to save themselves here, with 1 song, anything of their choosing, whatever thwey think will be enough to live to fight another day.

    How does this work?

    It has been a while since we last had a Play Off, so as a reminder for those that need one, and of course for those new to this, here is how it goes.

    The 3 people repping this artists will need to send me a song of their choosing.

    Once all 3 have been submitted I will post them in the Song thread as well as update this one.

    There will be a 24hr voting window, from the moment the songs are posted, where the 15 that have previously qualified can vote.

    Voting in this Play Off is not manditory, but it is highly encouraged. So if you can, please do.

    Once the deadline has expired, I will reveal who the 16th and final participant in Round 2 will be.

    For the other 2, this will be the end of the line.

    For those eligible, simply rank them 1-2-3.

    If there is a tie breaker required, the winner will be determined by virtue of the most number 1 votes.

    Round 2 Details

    Additionally, those who are voting for the Play Off can also give some thought toward their Round 2 song selection, and can submit these with their play off vote, if you wish.

    For Round 2, the theme is pretty easy - any song that was never released as a single/stand alone release. This can be an album track, B-side etc, live or studio, so long as the song picked was never released as a single in any guise.

    Hopefully between the Play Off and getting these R2 songs in, will be ready to post Round 2 on Sunday, fingers crossed. :50:​
