Yet another disappointing end to the window..

 

Well yet again after champions league qualification we fail to make a statement in the transfer window. Yes we signed Roberts but again only on loan and we've signed this PSG youngster again on loan.

Second year in a row. Banked around £60M and spent next to * all. Ok Ntcham looks a player and we've managed to retain our best players but to make inroads in Europe we have to strengthen further. What have our scouts been doing? What has Lee congelton been doing?

Someone has * up behind the scenes with the CB signing because we had one signed and yet he some how failed a medical with us yet today he's joined someone else.

 

Clearly i am using hyperbole, so you think we will fork out €10m euro on this guy? Will be *.

Anno, * disaster of a transfer window. Wur doomed, a smell 3rd place......... in the SPL

 

What do you expect them to do when Jonny Evans is getting bids in for 25M. The market is so over-inflated making our gap in the market tighter each year as more teams look for the bargains and uncover a gem.

I'd rather the board spend wisely and obviously aiming for only Rodgers targets, than go out and buy a load of players or pay way over the odds for an average player.

Hope there is a decent CB out there we can sign on a free as it looks to late to buy in the window but free agents can sign anytime i think

Decent window but we should definitely have signed a centre half so that's disappointing.

Usual *, everyone can see we need a centre back but no. Surely Brendan must be * off at the lack of spending yet they have the cheek to charge £50 a ticket for the champions league. Wasn't asking for much, just 5 million spent on a centre back. We now go into the champions league with one fit experienced centre back.

 

This isn't as bad as folk make out.

 

I’m all for thinking we can set results off these teams but do you really think an unknown addition will stop these guys hahahaha

Brendan has said he only wants players who can improve our squad.

I can't see him signing a player who isn't capable of playing for us when Boyata and Erik are out injured.

For a window, that doesn't look that bad. But considering we've banked £30 million give or take and we still only have 1 fit CB is embarrassing more than anything.

Nevermind waiting until now, we needed one BEFORE Boyata and Sviatchenko got hurt. Niether really convince me and Simunovic is still one bad tackle away from being out too, not like he's not had issues in the past.

No proven back up for Tierney and De Vries doesn't seem to be getting a chance to put pressure on Gordon.

January wish list, one or two CB's and a keeper. Maybe a LB if Miller can't take some of the load off of Tierney.
