A left back and another CB and this could be an excellent window..

Especially if we hold onto Dembele, KT and Armstrong..

With the addition of Paddy, Ntcham, Hayes and Benyu we will be in a much stronger position, just need to add that quality CB..

 

Back up left back and first team centre back and all is well. Realistically it's unlikely we are going to get a 3rd choice striker when Brendan only plays one. Unless it's a Carlton Cole type and he was a coo

 

Aye because we know that Paddy can play the false 9 role so well, don't think we need another striker..

Big statement of intent required at CB we need real quality there..

 

Money "saved" by not spending big on a perm deal for paddy, so money should be there to push out for a 4/5mill defender. For me, that is a big must.
Sviatchenko looks to constantly be off the boil here, but would love him to step it back up. Boyata is still needing to come back and see if he can step it up, jozo is the only one that has a place cemented for now.

He needs a partner he and the team can trust.


Right now, this team is almost perfect for this season, and if we get this perfect now, it makes next summer a doddle.

Back up full backs are to be looked at, but with gamboa still here and lustig still more than capable for me, that isn't desperate. A defender who can fill in at left back would be ideal.

Just get the feeling we will make a big signing before Thirsday. Think Brendan will want to further stamp his authority on this league and tighten the defence for the Champions League

 

Now we need two centre halfs a left back and a forward.

I will be very surprised if we even get anyone else in, fantastic that we have Paddy on a loan and I think we will get the we did try and get someone in but couldn't get it over the line but look we got Paddy back.

Two centre halfs? I'm debating if we even need one. Jozo and Boyata is as good a partnership as we've had in years.

 

We need better than Boyata , undeniably..

 

Of course but it's not like it's a desperate need, he's been a good player for us.

 

For a half a season, still hasn't been tested at the top level..

 

I'd like an experienced CB with at least 1 year of Europa/Champions league football under his belt, or some International exp (whether that is even with a smaller ranked nation)

Boyata, Sviatchenko and Simunovic all have torrid histories with injuries since theyve joined the club. Spend 4/5m on a centre back and we'd really move up another bit on the quality scale.

It's also been suggested that we need a better back up for Tierney and a 3rd striker. Those are desirable, but not completely necessary. I think a quality CB is necessary in this window.

If we did go into the group stages with this squad, and our three centre backs stayed fit then I'd of course be delighted and optimistic, but it wouldnt half help us push to that next level if we brought one in.

 

Honestly one good centre back (who could cover at left back) and I'd be delighted with this window

 

Aye canny be up for debate, we are playing away to Hamilton on that * pitch right before PSG at home, it's too much of a risk.

 

Don't think a st will come in I think a cb and a gk tbh but who knows the way the window has gone up till now proves we do our business quietly and intelligently and that the media are in the dark as far from ITK as sevco winning a trophy
