We have never been further ahead of that mob.
On and off the pitch we are several levels in front of them.
As for Dembele he will be back fit and firing on all cylinders soon enough.

Sit back and enjoy the great football we are all witnessing instead of worrying.

The only way we could possibly be further ahead of the * is if we turned a few draws into wins.

We are light years ahead of the whole of Scotland and anyone that suggests otherwise needs to take a look at last seasons league table, the 3 trophies in the cabinet or the Champions League group we've just been drawn in to compete against.

Paul is wrong. They lost 4 key players and their manager. They clearly haven't handled the transition well.

That's true. The centre back position is unfortunate. But we know boyata, sumunovic and sviatchenko are all very injury prone.

Yeah, a 3rd striker on loan who's there to sit on the bench when we only have one fit striker which happens a lot

Just getting * off with the lack of transfer activity. Over the last 5 years we've made the group stage several times and sold tens of millions in players and all that's been reinvested in the team is a small fraction of that money.

They lost 2 key players and a guy that played 5 times for them in the league.

As I've already said, Sanchez was an Ajax player when they played both Rosenberg games you can't just pick and choose things to suit your argument.

    They lost: 4 key players.

    -Klassan for 40 odd million
    -Sanchez for 40 odd million
    -Riedelweld their defender to Palace
-Tete started in their Europa league semi final and came off the bench in the 2nd leg. He also started one of the Qaurter final legs and one of the last 16 legs. He was very important.
    -Their manager to Palace

Sanchez DIDNT play either leg against rosenborg. It doesnt matter if you have Messi at your club - if he doesnt play he doesnt make your team better. And they WERE weaker for not having Sanchez in those two matches. I don't understand how you think Sanchez sitting in the stand watching the game is the same thing as him playing. Sanchez didnt play because he was over in London signing his contract and doing his medical to join Spurs. He was gone mate. Didnt play.

Skybet have Celtic as one of the teams Thomas Vermaelen could leave to, interesting since I haven't heard one rumour about him?

    Ah yeah.

I'm getting more and more optimistic as the PSG game get's closer. Thinking about PSG and Bayern automatically brings up images of drubbings because that's usually the outcome when those big teams play anyone other than the top 5/6 other sides in the world. But every match starts 0-0 and who knows. I think PSG at home in the first game is actually a good one for us. Don't fancy Anderlecht away 2nd game though, bit early in the group. Would rather we had them in the 3rd and 4th matches so we have a settled side.

I hate having the first game at home, it always takes us a little while to get up to speed.

Looking forward to deadline day for once. We must have a few irons in the fire. To think 2 seasons ago we were signing Kazim-Kazim. To be fair though I was overjoyed when Guidetti signed.

If the * wasn't made of glass I would welcome this but he would spend more time in the physio room than on the pitch.

We should have beat Bayern in Munich the last time we played them in 2003, 1-0 up and Hedman * it and drew 0-0 at Celtic Park that's the images I think of when I think of Bayern..

When I think of Bayern I think of them beating Arsenal 10-2 on Agg in the last two chmapions league campaigns. They are ruthless.

I remember those Bayern games too in 03. Was heartbreaking in Munich, and we had chances to win the home game too. I remember Bobo hand balling it against Lyon to lose us 2nd place in the last game also I think. (Gave away a penalty close to the end)

Not strengthening from a position of strength is a trait tho..

Think we only bought in one player after the Seville season, Michael Gray and then added Stephen Pearson in the Jan..
