18.. what do I win?

 

10 points, beat anderlecht home and away and we'll win and draw one with PSG and Bayern

 

Getting at least 5 points at home is a must, and will give us a decent standing. A good result in Belgium will surely see us in Europa, depending on how other results go. We have the fire power to get 3 wins at home for sure. Sinclair, Roberts, Rogic, Dembele, Griffiths. Remember we aren't playing SPL cannon fodder, these will be open games with lots of space.

I think 8 or 9 ( what I voted ) is a real possibility, and don't feel i'm being overly optimistic.
5 points at home, good result against Anderlecht, and holding out for a draw. Honestly think it can be done. Last season we didn't have a fraction of the momentum we do now.

Win at home to anderlecht. Draw away to them. Draw at home to Bayern. Draw at home to psg... Would be great. I think we could possibly beat anderlecht twice which would surely put us 3rd

4/5 at a push with the team at the moment.

Unless we sign some more quality that's the best I will hope for. I mean there is a part of me saying we can win every game then go on to win it but that's not gonna happen.

Would love us to finish 3rd in the group but we need to add that extra bit of quality.

 

Hoping at the very least for a win and a draw against anderlecht. Wouldn't be surprised if it was a win away and draw at home either. maybe just maybe we might squeeze a point out of PSG at parkhead aswell.

We should do well in the europa this season so really hoping we get that.

 

Thought we played very well at home last year against Barca and Man city. The Barca game at CP was so open. It was a really good game and we should've scored.

It's time to make CP a fortress again.

Honestly think we weren't far off winning each home game last season. Barca was pretty open and we were unlucky not to score, Gladbach was a bit of a balls up in defence, and poor defending let us down against City. We took the lead 4 times against them ffs. Now that the team know each other and how we play, i can see a win against one of the big 2.

 

3 or less would be disappointing, I'd be content with 4, delighted with 5.
Anything over 5 would be a fantastic achievement.

I voted 5. Think we'll get 2 points from our opening 2 games, then get a win at home to Anderlecht in the final game.
How * HUGE is that final game shaping up to be though?!
I'd be happy going into that game knowing a win would guarantee 3rd place.

 

Being completely and utterly realistic, I believe we will get 4 points. Home win Anderlecht, draw in another home game.

 

Agreed mate we showed a bit of naivety against City in being unable to hold the lead 3 times, a year down the line we are more experienced and have a bit more nous about us. Gladbach were the better team at CP but like you say the goals were self inflicted, if that happens this season I think we hold out for a 0-0 or even knick a winner, and Barca at home again I thought we played very well, the difference was they took their chances with the quality they have.

It will take a monumental effort but I think we are capable of turning over PSG or Bayern at home, IMO neither are quite as good as they have been at stages over the last few seasons. Although I am basing that off of last season, they may have improved by the time we play them.
