Dembele ,Boyata will be back and the new CB Rivaldo in place.We should be beating Bayern, PSG and Anderlecht at home.

 

People would be foolish to write off Anderlecht..

Yes i think you are onto something very positive here pal,once again we are going to be feared totally at home and as the season rolls on feared away as well.This is going to be a very special season,very very special season and we will get even stronger the following season

 

I have written them off,* them,it is an Australian Soap job on them!

 

I don't think anybody is writing Anderlecht off, but they are no Borussia Munchen Gladbach. Off course we will treat them with the utmost respect, but we should be beating them home and away. This is Brendan we have, not Ronny now.

How many Group Stage CL matches have we won? At home we should beat them..

But it would be a massive bonus if we took anything at home from PSG & Bayern..

Might be wrong but a think the Belgian s in pot 3 and their coefficiency is higher than ours due to how well their international team has done over past few years rather than anything Anderlecht have did as a team

 

One thing is for sure i am far far far more confident going into the Champions League Group Stages than last season,and i have a feel good factor about the whole thing

 

Now that it has sunk in, I'm actually delighted with the draw. Two huge glamour ties and a very clear path to progress to the EL last 32.

Not a lot of travel for our players either, all away games within 2 hours flight.

I don't think we should look back in life that never works. We have a stronger, more cohesive and settled side/squad under Rodgers /Davies. and we aspire for greater things.My mindset is ultra confident going into these six games, I will brook no other considerations.This is not Barcelona, Manchester City and Borussia Munchen Gladbach we are playing.

Three home wins and one away win should be doable.Otherwise you are not living.

 

Aye and teams like Club Brugge, Gent, Genk and Standard Liege usually pull their weight when they get into European competitions. Whereas Aberdeen, Hearts and the huns embarrass themselves.

Anderlecht are no mugs but judging by their league form and their squad, we can definitely beat them home and draw away.

 

I should have said, at least the EL last 32. My bad.

 

Seen a sevco fan say "look at their first 4 games...good times"

If Celtic being in the CL is "good times" for them then oh * I actually feel a bit sorry for them...they litterally have nothing to look forward to anymore. Apart from the thought of Celtic FC losing a game to a Elite European club. Sad innit

 

Three things I hope for going in to these games as things stand.

3. We get zero injuries
