Extremely shocking early second half defending put us 4-1 down, other than that we weren't all that bad.

Let's all just imagine that was the first leg, and the second leg we win 5-0 at Paradise :56:

Some dodgy moment's, but we're through.

    Hail Hail :party048:

Also we scored 8 goals over two games in the play off leg of the champions league, shouldn't forget that.

Besides it just wouldn't be Celtic in Europe if they hadn't caused at least half of us into early afternoon, or in my case early morning Drinking

We were 4-1 down after a freak capitulation, Astana should have went 5-1 up. Beast Ntcham then settled the nerves!

Makeshift defence that will get sorted. Four proper defenders to come back. For me though brown who I thought was great overall set the tone at the start of the second half with some nervy passing and gave the ball away cheaply. Had to be stronger in front of that defence but we're through all that matters. Bring on the big boys!!

we could have been 3-1 or 4-1 up in the first half

IF we had taken our chances no way would they have come out with any belief in 2nd half

    At 3-1 we were playi
At 3-1 we were playing absolutely *, Tierney getting roasted several times and having his worst game in a Celtic jersey. At 4-1 even anybody completely confident of going through would have been excused for becoming nervous as *. But Ntcham was unbelievable, a 9 or 10/10 performance with his next best teammate probably getting a 5 or 6.

After a 1-1 where it should have been 1/2-0 for us after a couple minutes of the second half started, they overrun us with nearly every * move and scored three goals which could have been five, than Rodgers made substitutions and we struggled a bit still than Shitovs goal after ntchams shot and the game was done with 4-2, after that we dominated again and scored a third one.

We were * awful in the second half for the most part. Astana could have easily scored the goals they needed to get through. I've always said we essentially need a whole new back line if we are to compete in the CL

That went downhill at an alarming rate but got there in the end defence couldn't cope with the crosses into the box. Forrest wasn't helping * and they were tearing it up down that side, thought referee was poor there were constant late tackles which he let go

Let's not forget lads, we've just completed our mission of getting to the Champions League group stages without a recognised CB, and without Dembele...

Made hard work of that but job done and end of the day that is all that mattered.

We gave the ball away far too often and it was one of those games where it could easily have ended up 10-10. Attacking wise we are very, very good but the defence without a recognised centre half pairing is a worry. We left ourselves exposed far too often and have to cut out that kind of thing in the group stages.

We're there so let's celebrate that fact & bring it on and see just how far we can go.

i thought he been gone a couple of years ago his legs are gone, all right when we have all the possession but a liability at the back

brown am starting to think his legs and stamina go in these big games where he is obviously worked a lot harder

Tierney for the third, hes supposed to tuck in and mark the forward who drifted off Biton.

Ralston and Ajer might have good potential but they're not the answers, look raw and inexperienced. Ralston especially.
Bitton needed more options when he had possession. Most long balls from the team I've seen since Brendan took over.
Griffiths got no ball, McGregor and Sinclair did fine, A few bad decisions in final third.

Ntcham and Gordon our best two players.[/QUOTE]

agree with the rest we were good for most of the 1st half giving the defenders plenty of options to pass to then we just lacked a helluva lot of mobility 2nd half like the players were spent, got to say that must be down to where we were playing central asia, known for being really hot and humid

if it wasnt * knows why we collapsed like that
