    Like BRFA said, we won 5-0 the other night with none of them. Well, Armstrong got some time at the end but he wasn't needed.

    Plus, if Dembele and Armstrong leave....you're looking at probably £30 million between the two of them. At least. Plenty of money to reinvest.

    We could buy 2 * teams with that money and the chances are at least 5 or 6 of those players would be gems.

    Have confidence in Rodgers to find adequate replacements when these guys do eventually go. Armstrong especially is already replaced with Ntcham.

    Let's be honest, Man City are going to loan him here because it keeps him happy and we have CL football where he can showcase and develop. It aint a bad move for them. They will be looking at Wanyama, Forster, Virgil etc and know that a talent can develop here.

    Worst case for them though, is he doesn't quite cut it for them, but if he hits the heights we know, then they have a 15-20mill player to sell regardless. Man City are not loosing anything here.

    We know that this is it with Roberts. He wont be back again next season, so Rodgers and the scouting team will have a year to ensure they get an adequate replacement. In fact, his replacement might be in our academy right now. Wee Mikey Johnston.

    On a side note, the Man City forum is the most embarrassing thing I have ever read. They genuinely believe they are a big club because they have rich owners. They have a * fan base, * atmosphere and * history. If sky was to withdraw their money and the owners were to leave the club they would be the first English team down the pan. Then their fans would go back to the teams they supported 10 years ago. They are criticising Roberts for choosing Celtic over a bang average Southampton team in the most over rated league on earth. Hope if we qualify we get Man City and hammer them home and away. They will no doubt provide further excuses like they did after the draws last year

    I know. * madness. But at least we get him for a bit longer. Ideal would be we buy him, but if they are looking to maximise a sale, then that aint going to happen for us.
    And for Paddy - he gets to keep playing football at a club he loves with one of his best mates. Dream come true for him.
