    I've changed my tune a bit, I'm happy with a loan. Permanent was probably impossible. He'll be starting for England in a few years and will probably leave city for £25m+

    This shows you that the players hold all the power these days, he could have been shipped out to Nice or sold to Southampton but he wanted back here. The wee man has caught the bug, though given that picture from years back he has always had it. :celt_2:

    We don't know the ins and outs of the deal yet so going to wait until it is all revealed before I say anymore.

    Loan move is better than * all and there might be clauses in there, who knows. Also, for all we know City have just been downright adamant that they aren't selling.

    Only so much we can do. Easy to just moan at the board.

    Could've been £3.50. City obviously don't want him, we have the money and I'm disappointed that this hasn't resulted in a permanent transfer, oh well though.

    They might not want him but it doesn't mean they are gonna just sell to us for buttons to be sound *.

    They know fine well they could get more from an English side if need be and they might still have plans for him.

    We literally know nothing about this so no point in making assumptions. Just happy he is here for another year, making it 2.5 years in this total, longer than a player of his quality would usually be here for.
