We need to just avoid silly fouls. A set piece is this teams best chance of scoring over there.

We will score over there 100% so they need 7 to go through.... let that sink in! a dont even think a Deila team would let that in!

No chance will we leave Griffiths out 2nd leg most likely Killie game on Saturday he will miss as will Jozo.

We hopefully should have paddy in by 26th August when we play St Johnstone.

When Gordon came out with the header I was thinking the worst with a repeat of last season but what a touch by the way :56:

I'm still struggling to take that in. What a match that was. Thought we were good value for a comfortable win, but 5-0 flattered us a little (I think the jet lag may have played a part in their absolute collapse). Having said that, we were brilliant at times, as others have said, they were a * good team for the first hour or so of that match and yet we were pretty comfortable.

TBH that might be all bullshit, though. Matches like that you get too caught up in to really assess dispassionately. I'd love to watch it again TBH (mainly for the sheer pleasure of it).

One things for * sure: that midfield 3 (Broony, Ntcham and Rogic)+ Sinclair can live with almost anyone in European football and has the quality to hurt almost any defence. I honestly think if we can add Roberts to that (great though Forrest was) and keep all our key players fit, then * me I think we have a team that can compete in the group stages.

I wouldn't say we were rubbish for an hour. I'd say we were disciplined. Bar their near miss from the header, they didn't cause us too much trouble. I think we settled down after our first goal and then the second just before half time gave us a lot of confidence.

We were the better team the whole game. First hour was like a European qualifier usually is. After the 3rd we were a different class and it was like we were playing an SPL team. The confidence we had in the last half an hour was incredible, they collapsed and just hit every ball back to us or fouled us. That should bode very well for future European games.

A clean sheet over there would make our qualifying campaign even more remarkable.. zero goals against..

Still cannot believe the result, * *. Certainly got the breaks at the right times but we made them look very average and I think they are better than they looked.

Many players will Astana have missing via suspension next round?

Simonovic commuted a * ridiculous foul at the edge of the box, think he got booked for it. Was so... silly.

Slightly off topic but is the song "we love you celtic we do" followed by a loud beat, they played at half time available to general public? Hairs stood up on end when I heard it blasting out and have been looking for it all day

    Awesome awesome atmosphere last night

Last night ? He didn't get booked mate as he was on a yellow before last night so if he got booked last night wouldn't be playing next week. Only Tierney and Brown got booked.
