    Rodgers likes shopping in England. Been looking at the squads down there and didnt see to much of quality left after the 25 man squads announced. Maybe Papy Djibouoji at Sunderland. Was at Chelsea for a bit maybe he would be worth a look.

    It does make sense. Players from every corner of the globe move to England regularly, so you're not limiting yourself in any way, plus they'll have gotten, to some extent at least, used to the language and climate.

    I still want us scouting every corner of the globe ourselves, but looking in England gives you an overview of global talent, anyway.

    He was never blessed with pace to be begin with but since that injury he moves like Clint Hill.

    Guys who never relied on pace who lose it are generally safe bets to not lose as much ability when they get older rather than pacey guys (obviously there are exceptions like Ryan Giggs), Snoddy doesn't have the stamina to fit into this team though.

    Still plenty of ability, when fit though.

    Aye but looking at him he just has lost it completely. Like he used to be brilliant at squaring defenders up and either shifting the ball quickly to create half a yard or feint a shot/cross to get by someone. Like a * Naka.

    But since his injury he just doesn't have the same little burst to pull away from someone over a yard or two.

    I agree about your comment about his stamina though. Especially when you think how Rodgers likes his midfielders/attackers to work.

    Seemingly Burke might be leaving Leipzig this summer. I'd much rather have Paddy back, but if it doesn't happen with him then going for a loan deal with a view to buy for Burke....that wouldn't be a bad back up.
