Our best hope for pot 3 is Olympiakos getting beat by Rijeka. They are 2-1 up from the first leg but conceded an away goal. Napoli are 2-0 going away, Liverpool are 2-1 up with 2 away goals as are Sevilla. If all 4 teams qualify then we will be in pot 4, need one of them to go out to move up into pot 3.

first 20 odd minutes we were a wee bit slow, Astana looked good on the ball. A switch changed somewhere then the rest is history. What a result and what a performance, how good was Ntcham btw?!

Brilliant result. Games like that are worth every penny. Pity that wasn't the second leg so we could celebrate properly.

Now that the group's stage is pretty much sealed. Will we see the board backing BR?? Normally we have to wait and see after the second leg but there should be no excuses this time

Was nervous as a kitten until the 4th went in.

Thought Astana were certain to get an away goal, but for all their periods of good possession they were pretty toothless in the final third.

In contrast I thought Celtic's build up wasn't to its normal high standards (nerves probably) but were really clinical when in mattered.

For me Ntcham, Griff and Forest were immense.

Great performance, albeit with a good amount of luck with the own goals, poor keeping and head injury scenario. It's about time we got the luck though, as it normally deserts us elsewhere! It was good to see us so clinical as well, as we can be prone to missing good chances.

Astana and their fans must be shell shocked with that though!

Outstanding performance, we made Astana seem like a pub team and they're decent. We overwhelmed them with pace and power.

We'll be able to relax watching the second leg. When was the last time we could relax watching Celtic in europe?

    Buzzing.

What a time it is to support Celtic I'm a bit young to really remember the tough times but I'm sure the people who witnessed it savour it even more world class support world class coaching staff and a team that looks like a team everyone playing for the jersey not a team of misfits in turmoil being led by Looney bin
