I Dont think this makes much difference to our chances of qualifying for the Champions league, he wouldn't have played tomorrow anyway and the tie will be wrapped up tomorrow night.

  1. Pushing all season for a * loan, this is embarrassing. Celtic spend barely any money and everyone will be buzzing anyway.

  2. * Sake Celtic get him signed :31:

  3. IF it is only a loan again, I can't understand why Man City didn't allow him join before the deadline.

Surely if they are loaning us Paddy then they would prefer we were playing CL football, no?

We would have been in a better position to secure CL football with Paddy in the side.

Which leads me to think there is more chance of it being permanent.

  4. I see your point but
Fraser foster was Newcastle 3rd choice keeper we got lucky with
    Wanyama we got lucky with
Van dijk we got lucky with

All three at the time of signing were deemed low risk with potential.

BR states he want quality calibre players to take us to the next level. Last season was understandable as he was just in the door but the scouting team must have had targets long before now for this season's qualifiers. Negotiations take time yes but other teams manage to do it before last minute, we seem to struggle when needed most

  5. A * loan ,this much * around over a loan .what's the point in us loaning him again if he doesn't want to commit long term move on there are plenty more right wingers.

  6. The GB released a statement yet?

  8. Can just see it now, us signing him on a year's loan, developing him further, then as soon as he returns to City signing for Southampton on a permanent..:31:

    * loans.

  9. Hope you are right. Could have been crucial in the away leg had he signed

  11. Aye but I mean when we were selling those players. Our board and coaches weren't telling us how intricate transfer dealings were at that point. It was star players swiftly out the door, money in, * all of it reinvested in the team.

  12. Bet ye it's no. Bet we're aw * ourselves in the second half of the second leg.

  15. Loan deal, so he can wait and see if Nice and Celtic qualify before making a decision. I thought he was on £25,000 p/w but most places say..

£10,000 p/w, but Man City want £215,000 p/m on top of paying 100% of his weeks p/w. Smart to wait if it's been down to him in the end.

  17. I'm tired, I'm * off, I'm angry, I'm frustrated, I'm worried about tomorrow night, I'm away to bed cuz in the morning I'm only gonna be all of the above again.
    Slan.

  18. Ah got you. True. When selling we are the quickest club usually. * depressing how we constantly do this. If we fail to qualify watch us manage to sell Dembele even tho the * would fail a medical as he's injured anyway

  19. We are due an easy tie, I think we will take the lead early and go on to win by 3 or 4

  20. Lee Congerton seems to have quite a cushy job at the club to be honest if this window is anything to go by.
