What's the latest with Astana any injuries to key or long term players?

Can't wait for this, work tomorrow is going to drag in. Fairly confident we will beat them by a few at home, with the crowd right behind us.

Only key defender M. Aničić is injured, as well as Đ. Despotović, last season's top scorer.

What is it with sides in these qualifiers giving it the big un' before we play them.

Astana manager coming out with cocky comments as well as the players saying they will have revenge...seem to recall similar comments from Malmo and Maribor players. Ours never seem to do that. Just sets you up for a fall and is dissrespectful as *.

Don't know how I feel about this anymore tbh, it's great news the GB are back will give the place a massive lift atmosphere wise but at the end of the day it's what happens on the park that matters. I'll need to wait to see the team sheet but to say I'm confident would be lying.

We really need to try and blow them away this first leg, similar to what we did to HBS last season but minus conceding two goals at home to make it as comfortable for ourselves as possible away from home. If we don't win by at least two clear goals then I will be fearful going into the 2nd leg as their home record is pretty decent tbf to them.

Anyway, c'mon the Hoops Hail Hail

Aye that would be perfect but a win and no away goal would be good..

The rosenborg games already put me through enough stress. Please make the second leg redundant celtic. Last time we've been 100% through in the play-offs after the first game was when we faced helsingborgs iirc.

Looking at our squad, I'm pretty confident about this (on a couple of conditions such as playing at least 1 recognised striker and not playing Bitton at CB, if at all). We have key CB and ST missing as do Astana.

I Posted their previous European results from last season in the Europa league; didn't win any away games in their group and only managed 1 win at home (n 2 draws) against quite mediocre opponents.

Plus we beat them last year. Think of the progress we've made from this time last year, gaining champions league experience and horsing every * domestically.

Unless they've somehow improved dramatically over the last few months I'd fancy we'll win. It'll be a * fortress tomorrow.

Let's win this 4-0 and go away and enjoy the away leg.

I remember the Shaktar Karagandy manager saying his team were going to score 3 more after they beat us 2-0 in the first leg. Was sweet to knock those * out in the fashion we did.
